The 2023 AFL Fixture
Yes RD But Will more than 5/10,000 Dogs fans come to MCG though? I reckon we will need 40/45,,000 Dees to top 50,000.

The 2023 AFL Fixture
Certainly it deserves 50,000 plus given both ours and Dogs excellent recruiting and where both Clubs are at.

TRAINING: Friday 2nd December 2022
Agree with you Picket F That's probably the MAIN reason we went for him at the death of trading. Knew his troubles personal and Coach wise and we needed another class disposer yo add to Bowey and Salem for our forwards. JT etc all view LH as an upgrade in style for us to Match Lingers on the other wing and to sort out Gus JJ and our half backs inc Riv once training etc starts.

TRAINING: Friday 2nd December 2022
Um I'm not so sure. Breaking into a Premiership side is one thing BUT coming off an underwhelming season for your Club having coaching and personal issues are all major career points, however there are vacancies in our AFL best 23 that weren't there last season ( until after Round11). Thats the way many supporters view it now but do the FD, Selection Cttee plus Simon see a need for replacing and tweaking our Brest team, by updating the list on game day. Our trade of Hunt Weid and Toby while not all our doing does indicate that some extra players are needed on our list. I believe if given a chance some of the following are possible ( not all of them together) in Round1 vs the Dogs. Grundy Hunter JVR Bowey Chandler Schache Tmac Joel Smith Dunstan JJ, Tommo if injuries and form warrant consideration. Others like TajW, Howes, Laurie and our 2022 and this season recruits are possibles for down the track later in season on good form or fast track development above expectations. In essence no one should be ruled in or out of the best 23 except say the best 17/18 from last year. This may not happen but I believe if we are to challenge Geelong seriously we need sbout 5/6 improvements to our team in the Finals including our fitness!

2023 Fixture Wishlist
Be more exciting than a trip to Blundstone Arena.

2022 Player Reviews: #19 Fraser Rosman
Well at this stage I reckon Blake Howes might get him as a player in the end (perhaps a winger) and a half back is by no means an urgent issue with about half a dozen in the mix for our mids and smalls. I would still watch Rosman over the next 2/3 years at Port as he may develop quickly there.

TRAINING: Friday 2nd December 2022
I'm banking on Lachie for a stellar season in the red and blue. He knows he didn't change Clubs to play at Casey. Nothing but the members stand side wing passing to our forwards snd linking with our backs is acceptable. Tough enduring and on the job all day needs to Be his mantra and a finish somewhere in the top 10 of the B and F for Lachie. No Coach either issues Lachie starts with a blank canvas!

2023 Fixture Wishlist
Being looked after is making a financial benefit as much as possible with the fixture. If is assumed that to allow a Club to be more viable playing marquee snd prime times is a natural progression once a Club is successful. Bring on the big prime time slots and make us Big like in the 50:60'd again. We we're 5th biggest in AFL crowds in 2022 let's break into the top 4 of Coll Carlton Ess and Richmond on 2023.

Welcome to Demonland Jed Adams
Don't think I've seen a more promising highlight reel from a 18yo KPP and one that has had plenty of time out if the system injured. Jed's upside looks enormous and love his style of play on and keep the ball moving. Great mark also. Let's not be testy/ impatient with MJ's development if it's not as fast as we want or is left behind by Adams and of course JVR who will have 12 mths him. Dees fans are not known for patience if results are not speedy and almost instantaneous!! Good luck Jed, MJ and of course JVR. I have a feeling that our next Flag May be tied up in the progress of ONE or TWO of those lads. Go forth and improve guys the world is your oyster.

Merch/Memorabilia
Let's hope Trac has a chance in 2023 to still break that record!!!
-
Merch/Memorabilia
He fumbled and had no control over the ball so it was legit.

Farewell Kye Turner
With a much less robust jaw and face!!

GAMEDAY: AFLW GRAND FINAL
Summing up the AFL was lucky and able to get away with this venue decision but needs to lift its game in decision making for its showpiece event as our President has suggested. In the next footy season and beyond Brighton HomesArena with its 8,000 capacity will be a great AFLW and VFL event day venue plus forLions training. Then it should be with an $80 mill price tag. !!

GAMEDAY: AFLW GRAND FINAL
I attended the GF at Springfield last Sunday and generally had disagreed with the decision for that venue. We all know the rock snd hard place decision the AFL and presumably the AFLW were in both guilty of overlooking the availability of a venue when their showpiece GF event was being held at one of the busiest times of the year for cricket and world Entertainment stars needing ground venues for their Southern Hemisphere Aussie tours prior to Christmas. While the grass surface at Brighton Sports Arena was not as suitable as an older more established surface was to play the Grand Final on the rest of the facilities and ground were opened up and all appeared fine for the even, including the parking areas allocated adjacent and near the ground which is also conveniently located right next to the Springfield Suburban Rail Station. Clearly on advice we were told the grass had only been laid about 4 weeks earlier meaning it had not had much time for its roots to stabilise although it was declared safe for play by AFL inspection and also another testing of the grass stability. In fact the surface looked great and lined in the usual cutting and mowing patterns with sponsors logos etc. As Kate Roffey with the team inspected it on the Sat arvo and realised there would not be much bounce that part of the game was ordered to be removed from the Dees game plan "No Bouncing" being the edict. So very little bounce it was and neither team really missed it except Melissa Bannon not doing one of her 6 bounce for a goal specials.

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
While respect your opinion and agree to some degree it's the total forward Lind that matters. Tmac Will if fit open the ways for the mids and smalls and JVR is a very crafty player for his weight and size. He is no one trick pony gets goals from different ways and is a team player. BBB May be fit and we have our best furwards in Fritta and Kossie who are kicking nearly 100 goals between themselves. Faster game plan and better passing will assist us I believe Harry Petty should be tried at CHF or FF. We can definitely win the Flag in 2023 as little things didn't go our way in 2022. we have some potential players who may be ready for AFL also. We are one if the teams that can bridge the gap and beat the Cats at our best.
