Post Practice Match Discussion - Melbourne v Collingwood
It needs to remain for when they change the rule back due to the unforeseen, unintended consequences it creates... Al la hands in the back, ruck, etc ...

New Leadership Group includes Neville Jetta
A guy I used to go to the footy with a couple of years back described Nev as 'very overated' Don't see that guy much any more!

Calling All MCC Members
Re your question on the 3 guest passes Yes - every MFC home game is an option this year! Huge win! This was a pleasant surprise to see when my pack came in the mail. Got to hand it to the club for responding to the feedback that I couldn't find anyone interested in the Port Adelaide or Gold Coast games (I'm sure they were getting from more than just me) I've been going the MFC/MCC Premium option for 12 years now. It's a bit pricey but you get: Full Membership (incl. a vote) Category 2 Grand Finals Ticket preference 3 x MCC visitor tickets Free Junior Membership (he gets stickers too) Scarf (to put with the 20 others in the cupboard) So more than just a donatio in my mind Oh... I almost forgot the fridge magnet

Training - Wednesday, 12th December 2018
'Closed' session unsuccessful given it's being held at Gosch's Warming up down here - I love preseason Looks like most of the team out on the track and the operation recovery boys very active and with ball in hand. Clarry's shoulders looking ok, bit of ball work and some run/walk laps Lever on the bike, peddling aggressively. Brayshaw in recovery group... unclear why?? Don't see Jack Viney Big Maxy looking like it's going to be a huge 2019. Nibbler looking exceptionally fit. Saty getting some photos, I lool forward to his update

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
Completely right. And apologies if this has been covered as I haven't read much of the rest, but I watched the higlights clips shown at tjhe B&F. [My recollection is] Hogan featured kicking about 5 goals, I think. Of these 1 was a set shot, from the boundary, J-curve style. The other ~4 were in play-on situations very close to goal, no doubt some were 'Joe-the-goose' types. Jesse wasn't a 50 goal lead, mark / contested mark, set shot goal kicker. Many of his goals werr in general play. So I think Petracca and his agility in and around packs coupled with strong body is key to replacing Jesse's goals, as well as a well functioning Fwd Line where ground players kick more goals.

Likely a lot more money as there is less competition for the Freo salary cap space

I genuinely doubt it I think it is clear there is a push on, albeit not explicitly stated, and given the circus of the past 48 hours, sadly, I think it's past point of no return

Farewell Jesse Hogan
IF THIS IS TRUE (a big if) and if Melbourne/Hogan is a party to the idea then... 1) So much for wanting to go 'home' 2) So much for MFC not pushing/shopping Hogan 3) So much for everthing will be fine in 2019 with Hogan remaining at MFC I was torn down for suggesting 2 & 3 last night
