  1. Tmac going forward, and Goody eluding to Weid potentially out (my take on his words). Viney out injured. I think we could bring in both OMac and Kielty, taller side than last week but we've still got plenty of inside mid strength
  2. Beat me to it! Hahahahahahahahaha ?
  3. OMG I think it's a sign... It's Steve Hocking!
  4. Toorak Tractor maybe?
  5. But he's a lead and mark full forward... Who would kick to him? ?‍♂️
  6. Noticed that also... Must be the SOP now ??
  7. Considering all the time out, it's amazing how much he was able to tear it a new one when he did get on the park If only... the beast could have been a great player ?
  8. Ohhh, that's why we've been going backwards all year!
  9. This thread is great! Keep it up IMHO... The current s#1t show we are witnessing on field is a direct result of the Football Department performance over the past 3 years. Draft and trade strategies, game plans, skills, conditioning are all bearing fruit now, and compounded by a bit of bad luck with injuries (noting we're not alone here) The personnel in the FD, and their strategies and tactics and have been in place well before Pert arrived, in fact they have been formed and implemented under the watch of Mahoney. I think (hope) that small shift is strategies and tactics, a little bit more luck with injuries and a better run of preparation into 2020 will have us performing much closer to the lfoty expectations of pre 2019. The test for Pert will be guiding and supporting Mahoney et al to make the required adjustments. Or facilitating more significant changes should they be required. I won't rush to judgement on him until he has a chance to make an impact.
  10. Well no prizes for guessing how you got your name Frank ?
  11. Great news re JKH well ahead of schedule 3-5 weeks I know he gets s#1t piled onto him throughout this forum because he's not a superstar but his efforts later half of last year were great and always gives 110%, runs both ways (unlike many), tackles and is a reasonable kick... I'm looking forward to him returning, he's the genuine depth we're missing from much of the rest
  12. When (if ever) we get our best defensive 6 on the park, Frosty should go forward as a defensive running and contest player to stop the switch and slingshot
  13. Aunty ... balls ... uncle...
  14. Or other teams recruiting departments see through his "flashes of brilliance" and our desperation and offer SFA... Or worse we take SFA and another team realises the potential we almost had a-la Howe, Dunn, Martin, ...
  15. Pretty clear... We've had poor results trading, so why trade an average performer and expect to get something better??
  16. And People on here want to trade Petracca... ?‍♂️
  17. 18 to 9 Frees in favour of Hawthorn and the umpires have missed a few crucial ones for Carlton in last 5 mins They're having am awful year!
  18. I think we keep him Our trading form is far worse than his playing form He has plenty of upside potential, and any trade could end up a total disaster
  19. Agree, bring him home
  20. I thought Billy Stretch did OK
  21. Sun came up this morning...☀️ Wasn't expecting that!
  22. Agreed. Call it how it is! We've had some draft success, but with low round picks. We've not had anything but "average" results from the rest. Backslapping requires more than that!
  23. I felt tonight was a good performance from a bottom 4 side looking to make a mark Unfortunately that's not where we want to be OR think we are I sat with 2 former (recent) players, both solid in their MFC contribution, it was fairly well unanimously agreed that we lack kicking skills, and that this is a drafted skill, not a taught skill We need to drafy some good kicks We butchered the ball tonight, there's no arguing that!
  24. We were there and there abouts a lot We are missing good first-touch ball users, too often we fumble and fudge good opportunities We're not far off, but far enough
