What happens when none of this pans out and none of these extra meetings, changes of management and medicals are spoken about. All you lose is your credibility and you disappear again from this forum.

No, I’m not going to chill out. You might enjoy having your chain yanked and your emotions played with, but I don’t. We all love some intel at this time of year, and in the past it’s come from people with credibility and a proven track record. Sure, not everything pans out. Here we have two guys with no track record talking about secret meetings, last-minute management changes, and final medical checks. Fantastic stuff. Two randoms supposedly have all this inside information that unlocks one of the biggest stumbling blocks of one of the biggest trades in years, yet not a single person in the media has caught a whiff of it. All this would be front-page clickbait, but somehow it’s the best-kept secret that only two randoms on Demonland know about. You might like to have your leg pulled for a quick hit of dopamine, but I sure as hell don’t.

Very troll like behaviour. Running with an unconfirmed rumour from another likely troll on here that is playing with everyone's emotions. Neither have any runs on the board and have plausible deniability when it doesn't pan out. There is nothing about any of these rumours on the socials and you can bet your bottom dollar that a rumour like this if it had any merit would be the top story. Yet nada. I know this sentiment will be unpopular for those wanting to believe but these trolls should be ashamed of themselves.

If he was as desperate to get out of the GC and return home for personal reasons then he would have publicly requested a trade. That hasn't happened and will not happen. Dees fans need to come to terms with the picks.

Every proposed trade that the media is putting out there comes with the caveat that he is off the table. Every story about Trac, Oliver, Merrit & Curnow is about them wanting out and their photos are splashed about as the big names moving. If Bailey was also in the mix to be a serious mover this trade period he would also be talked about in this way yet he is not. It is simply not going to happen just because we wish it were so.

Too many people on here pinning their hopes, dreams and unrealistic wishes on the word of a stranger on here yet there is absolutely no media attention around Bailey Humphrey being desperate to return home.

Early next week that will be another club’s problem or delight and ours once or twice a year.

I think you’ve got it backwards on who’s more likely to cave first. Gold Coast hold all the cards here. Petracca has made it clear he wants out, and from what I’ve heard, he has no intention of returning. He’s nominated the Suns as his preferred destination, and we’ve given him our blessing to explore his options. Bailey Humphrey, on the other hand, hasn’t done any of that. He was photographed meeting with the Dees but he hasn’t publicly said he wants to return home for family or personal reasons. He hasn’t requested a trade, nor has he been given permission to explore one. In fact, the Suns have categorically stated he’s not on the trade table. Sure, we could hold Trac to his contract, but it’s far more likely we’ll be the ones to blink first and accept whatever Gold Coast put forward. Take the picks and hope JT can work some magic.
