  1. Listening to the Footy on a cold winters day making Spaghetti with my Nan one afternoon she had to ask me what we were listening to.
  2. I was hoping the Dogs won in 2016 as much as if we were playing but I enjoyed the Swans victory over WC with the Leo Barry You Star Mark. Great Game.
  3. My Old Man's into the mid 50's. He must be sick of the theme song by now.
  4. I enjoyed Waverley as well. Round Robin tournaments, pre season night games which I could never wait for due to the previous seasons efforts and it was easy to just put a few ice cold ones in the bottom of your bag as security never checked. I even liked going to games when we weren't playing I loved watching Footy live so much. Now I just wanna get to the MCG for live Football again. I'll even take Marvel if it's offered. Not long now.
  5. I've been going to the Footy since the 80's and I've only ever experienced problems with Bulldogs supporters. Princess Park, The MCG and Marvel Stadium multiple times. And I'm talking about when it had nothing to do with me and they're wanting to fight other Melbourne Fans. I remember one Bulldog Fan wanted 10 or 15 Melbourne Lads who were egging him on. Ricky Petterd took a Screamer that night. Never had issues from any other Clubs supporters. I do love the banter it's half the fun of going to footy. Just never make it personal.
  6. I remember there would of been around 10 Melbourne Supporters shoulder to shoulder, across, then going down from the Hard Yakka signs behind the goals to the fence at the ground. I thought if it kicked off we'd be in real trouble. But at 22 you think you're invincible (my Dad refused to go with me) and by the time we got those 2 last Qtr goals, the Hard Yakka sign nearest to me got pummeled with an open right hand. All respect to any Magpie fan who was there that day from the way I was treated as I don't remember any eyes or verbal coming towards my direction. I remember walking out proud as punch just wishing my Dad had come and my Boss had come to experience one of the best days I'd had at the Footy. I enjoyed all the missions of going to all the Suburban grounds. Geelong is the only ground i haven't got to but would like to.
  7. It was probably because he got a close up look of him bending his Back whilst Chucking.
  8. I think it was on the Front Bar this was talked about and Garry said it was used more of a [censored] stir than a serious nickname.
  9. For Too Many Years did I hear from Mates to the Boss, I hope we play the Dees twice this year. Can't think of One team that'll have those thoughts this year.
  10. The cost? Watching the Replay. Anger Management problem Solved. Will I get angry due to Football related issues? Probably. Bring on the first bounce.
  11. I had Hawthorn at the Line as well as H2H so I still got paid. I think I had 30 on each bet so overall I Lost but only a few dollars that week.
  12. This is Exactly what I do each week and after losing most weeks, I started not only with Head to Head betting but was taking the opposition at the Line. That way getting a 40 or 50 point head start over the lower teams still got a small return. Line bets all the way this year. I Lost plenty this year for the first time in a while and would pay for it again to win this Season's Flag.
  13. I wish someone gifted in the area unlike myself could do a QR code for the 3rd Quarter blitz.
  14. I still hate Essendon and Hawthorn for two of the worst days I've had to endure as a Melbourne Demon. Makes winning this year so tasty tho.
  15. Watching Live I was at my angriest and smashed my telly remote to pieces, cost me 69 dollars to replace but now I can't help but smile at that part of the game. Thanx Bont.
  16. I'm sorry to disappoint all who love the Bang Bang Bang thing but he stole it from an NBA Commentator. I do love the moment tho and how it related to the game at the time but Brayshaws best moment on tv was stolen from another commentator.
  17. Reckon the Pies will still pick him up whenever it is that he's finished with us. Hopefully for both himself and Us supporters it's after he enjoys some success.
  18. Not just or Backline but the Defensive running and pressure by the whole team made us a different and difficult proposition to face. Long may the hunger to help a teammate continue.
  19. They'll be pumped for a good season. Adding Taylor Harris's a big addition and think will really benefit the club. Back where she belongs. C'mon Dees do the Double.
  20. Agreed, every day i open my eyes I will be celebrating that we own the title of Premiers 2021. But when that ball gets bounced in the centre to start the season in 2022 the next part of Our footy journey begins.
  21. Great effort and I thought no-one would be catching my Dad's effort. He's into the mid 40's of Full Replay watches but I've given him the Season DvD early, he wouldn't wait for Christmas Day so that'll slow him down.
  22. For me it was the same goal, Langdons that broke me and had me sobbing uncontrollably and every goal after that brought more and more tears of joy. I godda grab a tissue I'm starting again.

Great skills there Webber. Since everyone likes a different version of the Clarry goal how about a 3 part piece like Frederick McCubbins The Pioneer.

I don't care about prime time positions I don't care about Channel 7 televised games. We win the Granny Again next year and they'll give us 27 discs with all the games for us to watch over and over again like this year. Well we still godda pay for it but I'll be only too happy to. My Dad and Sister are happy as well, as long as I pay for them. And I'm happy to, what a brilliant year of Footy.
  25. Also how great is it seeing the reaction of the Families of Players and Draftees now compared to that POS ts and his family's reaction when he was drafted. They thought they were to good for us and their poo didn't stink. I wasn't as enthusiastic as most of you about Luke to start with but he's seriously won me over in a big way and did it very quickly.
