Vince made best case for round one so far, well to me atleast. I turn on a stream and first thing i see is someone spoiling Lever in the air, i guess communication will get better over time.

Who do we need to sign down now? T.Mac, Hunt and Brayshaw? I haven't kept up with the contracts over the off season.

Maybe the last 10 years have been tough on me, but i still to this day can't imagine any fans of any team being scared of playing the dee's. Maybe Viney destroying Selwood is still on their minds.

Jones, Viney, T. Mac and Lewis are the only ones off the top of my head i can think of. Is Lever really a leader? I wouldn't be keen putting too much pressure on him in his first season with us. Gawn and Jetta are good shouts, i'm also still a Bernie lover.

We couldn't offer Port anything worth while unless we dump Hogan. I accepted a while ago that Hogan was going to head home and then he went and signed a new deal, i think we should repay that loyalty and not force him out so we can get a new shiny player. I'd also rather save cap space so we can secure the guns we got already. If Petracca and Oliver continue to develop everyone in the comp will be throwing big money at them, so we need to be prepared. Finally, Tyson isn't an A grade midfielder, but he does work and seems commited to the club. You can't have 22 great players and i am quite happy with his contribution (Maybe he could kick a bit better) and i think he is in our best 22 everyday of the week.

Last season when everybody was getting injured (Gawn, Viney, Jones etc) Tyson was playing basically every game. Did he trade midseason injuries for preseason ones?

Geelong round one ruined my excitement for this season. A win in round 1 would be massive.

I'm pretty keen on playing finals, but in 10 years time we will probably be [censored] again. I don't let performances dictate my love or passion for the team. I'm sure we will play finals in the not so distant future and maybe even win one, but i sure as hell know it'll go [censored] up and will be down the bottom again.

Preseason is the most exciting time of year tbh. I always like to imagine the team is setting new fitness records and coming with amazing gameplans to take the comp by storm. Usually by round one i wise up.

I watched him play and i don't think anyone here is going to say that every game Robbo was always at his best. However he was a bright spark for most of his games and carried us in a few. As others have mentioned, times have changed.
