  1. Mondays are infinitely better after a win. No bueno
  2. OH AND QUIT IT WITH THIS [censored] AT ALICE SPRINGS WHATEVER WE ARE GETTING, IT’S NOT WORTH THE LOSS. (caps intentional)
  3. SEVEN GOALS TWENTY ONE BEHINDS And all that room we gave them all day? Gross Golden opportunity down the toilet
  4. The saints are a big ordinary team who only beat teams who waltz in assuming they will win.
  5. Couldn’t buy a goal
  6. Can we get Keeler? Knows how to kick a goal. Has kicked nearly half our team’s goals.
  7. Maybe we can just kick 21 more points?
  8. we can be so very annoying 1.4 for a dominant qtr. and we’ve gone backwards on the scoreboard. Do we want to win??
  9. We’re in this, despite our abysmal patches of footy and poor kicking. We’d actually be even/in front if we kicked straight. Just need to come out and play good, honest, accountable footy. Hopefully the boys get a rocket to set them up for the second half. Kozzie (among others of course), needs a lift. He’s been incredibly poor.
  10. There’s still time to play tough, honest footy and win this. If we can kick a couple of quick ones and bring it to 2 goals it’ll look a lot closer and we can build from there. That was an important steadier.
  11. Why do we do this to ourselves? I can handle losing. And especially to a better team. But the saints are not a better team!! They have just come here to play and knew we might come in full of hot air, playing lazy, complacent footy. And that’s exactly what happened.
  12. Lazy + arrogant.
  13. We are being slaughtered Typical of us to be wasting a golden opportunity. They have come here to play. We are not interested in tough, honest footy.
  14. And we’re down now because of that arrogant [censored] from Kozzie. So annoying.
  15. Nice pass from Claz, Fritter looks likes he has that beautiful left foot going.
  16. Love Melk. We have nobody else like him. Always lowers the eyes. Elite kick, mark and creativity. A defensive forward who holds his own and with continued good health, will terrorise opponents deep into September, hopefully.
  17. 100% no notes (But yes I also think we will win, but $1.49 is way unders)
  18. I am more excited about where we are now, compared to where we were last year. We had a few good wins at the start of last year, then fell away. Hard. Think we lost to the Eagles and the 'wheels fell off' loss to Freo at this time. Here we have started poorly, and built nicely, better injury list, I can see us building towards something. Finals would be great. I think we CAN make it. And if we do, we will be coming in with some steam so others will be wary. But if we don't, I think we can see the path forward.
  19. For anyone looking at things aside from the very narrow marks/goals stat sheet, absolutely! And more importantly, he is finally looking more confident out there. Remember the last 12-24 months? When he wasn't injured/hurried back early, he looked lost. Couldn't find the ball. Didn't know what to do when he did. He doesn't look lost anymore. Looks like he knows he belongs again and can contribute. And is contributing. Very well. It will only improve with time. Good on him :-)
  20. Agree. Adelaide have not fully been challenged yet either. They the Lions/Hawks in the next few weeks. Our list on paper is great. We have one of the best (non) injury lists right now (touch wood), and our form/confidence clearly increasing. You're right. Win against the Saints and we unlock an opportunity to keep moving forward. One game at a time! We can only win one game at a time :-)
  21. Completely agree. We can beat the Pies. They are well drilled, but beatable if we maintain pressure. And we are due!!! Then we have Port in Adelaide - which again, super winnable, with the bye following. Imagine going into the break at 8-6!!? We'll need that form and boost because we have away games v GC/Adelaide after the bye.
  22. Terrible luck for Spargypants. I think he was slowly starting to find his feet a little again, despite those who count hard stats and goals only, and think he wasn't.
