  1. Not the best performance overall yet great at times. Bad errors mixed in with some great play so we still have room to improve even on today’s great win. In terms of real impact I saw it as: 6. Hogan 5. Hibbo 4. Viney 3. Lever 2. Melksham 1. ANB
  2. Looks more than ready. Hopefully that giant [censored] Tex is back as well.
  3. Lever reads the play beautifully and is the best field kick in the team. Worth every dollar. The quite fair criticism of our side is that they lost matches they should have won and that messed us up in September last year. We are now winning those games so we’ll done to everybody at the club.
  4. Lots of good players as you’d expect in that sort of win but in terms of impact live on the day I would go: 6. Lever 5. T-Mac 4. Melksham 3. Harmes 2. Hannah 1. Jetta
  5. Let’s not base our success around a win over the GCS of 2018 as being the pinnacle of the AFL Mauriesy. We really need to aim higher.
  6. No need to go over emo on me WB, I have in the past been critised for defending Salem but he was not overly effective today.
  7. Honestly, can anybody seriously say Weids game was good? In a good win we had few passengers tonight, Salem and Bradshaw let the turnovers with 6 & 5 respecitively and were generally poor. Melksham’s disposal by his own standards was below par, it was a bad game and he will improve. Jesse and Hannah were down for three quarters and fired up in junk time but both proven performers. Weid needs to go back to the twos and get some form, but the point is we have have a lot of upside, the team is going places and we want them competing for places.
  8. Lever, Oscar, Max, T-Mac, Jesse through the spine. Viney, Harmes, Clarry the inside mid combo and Petracca who I think can be become the best player in the competition. We have the potential right now to be the best and I mean this year, exciting times if the club and players get it right.
  9. Good game, couple of observations: ‘A. Our boys came out to play B. Stuey Dew needs to lay off the KFC Anyway best players outside of junk time when the game was there to be won: 6. Harmes 5. T-Mac 4. Oliver 3. Lewis 2. ANB 1. Frisch
  10. Hunt is a bit of a dilemma right now, at his best he cruises into our team, in terms of our list he is unique in terms of his pace, tank and pressure he can put on the opposition - he is simply the best athlete on our list. Problem right now is his confidence is down and he’s not getting to enough contests, he knows it too and has looked frustrated over the last few weeks. No doubt he will be back.
  11. Gotta say I’m a Clarry fan like most on here. He’s not flashy, never going to win a prize for being the prettiest player the way he goes about it but he wins the hard ball, does all the hard stuff and even stares down mofos in the crowd when they annoy him. Still young but can’t wait to see how he evolves from here.
  12. Fair question, both ultra talented forwards. I would take Jesse, he is not necessarily better overhead but stronger in a pack and a much better kick.
  13. The Brayshaw love on this forum is off the chart, Bradshaw represents everything this club has been for a long time nice, predicable and average while Petracca represents everything many associated with this club dislike, unbelievably talented with a touch a touch of swagger and unpredictability. Come 2020 Bradshaw will still be an average player who can’t hit the side of a barn and Petracca will be one of the premier players in the competition.
  14. Brayshaw’s kicking on either side is generally average, a game high 8 turnovers today supports that as fact. If you think his tackling was fine rewatch the third quarter, StKilda players were walking straight through him.
  15. He is still a dilemma, at times silky skills but at other times looks ordinary. 7 turnovers for the match only beaten by Brayshaw on 8 and in in the first half he couldn’t hit the side of a barn. I hope Tyson makes it and becomes an important part of the team going forward, he has all the skills.
  16. The problem is that he’s a very ordinary tackler which is noticeable today through the third quarter so not really an alternative to quality tacklers on the inside like Viney, Jones and Oliver and a terrible kick so can’t replace quality kicks of the footy outside like Salem, Harmes etc.
  17. 6. Hogan 5. Jones 4. Lever 3. Harmes 2. Oliver 1. Hibbo
  18. Can somebody tell Brayshaw to stop kicking the ball please. Every time he kicks it it ends in a StKilda score.
  19. Clint, when you take the two most important players our of any team- not necessarily the best but the most important it changes a side dramatically. We got T-Mac back today who was great first up and Viney still to come. Judge us in a months time.
  20. 6. Gawn 5. Jones 4. Hannan 3. Harmes 2. Frisch 1. Melksham
  21. Fabulous news, Bernie is one bloke that always gives 100%
  22. Yes, I get all of that whenever I go to a game involving the Tigers but big Gil hasn't banned them yet.
  23. Ahh come on all of you pull yourselves together, everybody knows there is a clash if the GF is the Crows V Tigers and the Tigers will need to throw on the yellow jumper. Lets all petition the AFL for the Tigers to wear the lovely yellow jumper on GF day, the only jumper I would prefer to see more is the Hawks sparkly power ranger looking top.
  24. About the SSM debate? I don't and you have totally missed the point.
  25. On me? Its not - I don't feel passionate about the issue enough either way to care but many do.
