He is playing a very disciplined role…respect! If he keeps playing his role he will stay in the team. I’m pleased for him

I am from WA and can confirm I am attending the game tonight and will not boo Jacko
-
I don’t imagine that they always do it on a 6 day break. To me it says that maybe we are stepping into a game honing phase and are no longer in a loading phase. I could be totally wrong though and don’t claim to be an expert on the matter
-
The short bit of footage the club released from training showed some reasonably high pressure match simulation. Part of me thinks this is the week we see a real step up…hope I am correct

Melksham has been very good. We are dominating. Just need to slow up their movements forward -

But Strauss is such a beautiful kick...you'll see when he cements a spot in the senior team -
I think you should call the club tomorrow and ask them to release a statement saying whether he is or isn’t signing on. No doubt your call will be from very far way from where you grew up because you are a hard man who never gets homesick and have obviously never changed employment
-
His contract ends this year…not sure what bit about that you don’t understand. ET did not compare footy to war at all…suggest you read his post again
-
No worries. I’ll agree to disagree
-
But his contract runs out at the end of this year…that is how a contract works. I am also a West Aussie and don’t consider myself soft…or Luke for that matter. He is a premiership hero and I dislike the way some on here all of a sudden start criticising someone for doing something they are absolutely entitled to do. He will always be a premiership hero in my eyes
-
I wouldn’t know sorry
-
I am not saying it is going to happen…just pointing out that Freo need to offer something large and just because a player is on a long term deal it does not mean they cannot be traded
-
It can happen if they agree to the trade. The reality is that Freo need to come up with a fair deal to make it happen. We will ask the question
-
I am aware of that and also believe that Serong has a few years to run. Doesn’t mean they cannot be traded
-
I agree with this and think that Serong or Young must be part of the deal…preferably Young
-
He’s not worth wasting energy on
-
A little harsh considering he is a premiership player. If he leaves I wish him all the best and hope that he has a great career. I also hope that we get the maximum out of any deal possible. Our recent performance with trading proves that the club is well versed at getting a deal done that is fair. A huge deal for Luke only assists us in maximising our trade capital. I met Luke the day after the GF win and found him to be a really nice bloke. He is entitled to leave if he wishes…that is the system…just as Jake Lever and Steven May were entitled to leave their former clubs
-
I also thought he was excellent and brought great physicality to the contest. One of his best games imo and he was critical in the win. Along with Jordon I thought he was unlucky to miss out on coaches votes
-
Hibberd will go to Cameron. I back him to do a job on him
-
It appears to me (admittedly watching on TV) that he has been playing up the ground more...traditional HFF. That may have been a result of us not getting our territory game right, but he has not been allowed for one reason or another, to play his usual game. To be most effectual I think Spargs needs to play between the goals and forward of the centre square...just my opinion
-
Absolutely zero chance Spargo is dropped. He is being played out of position atm but he is a critical player for us and our forward line
