He is so difficult to understand…needs to learn syllables. A terrible commentator but to be fair he is a bit like Carlton - mid range
-
Not sure they’ll be singing tonight…they are a mid table team at best…don’t tell their supporters though
-
No threat…back to doing whatever you were doing jaded. Nothing to see here
-
That Carlton jumper is an embarrassment
-
More dumbing down of the AFL website which I find shallow in content and almost unusable

He oozes leadership in my opinion. One of our brightest young players. He was excellent all night
-
Our most complete performance of the year! I find it difficult to not be smug
-
As I said, I’d like him in the team but it’s not up to me or even you…it’s just an opinion. I also believe it to be a fact that some AFL players receive tougher attention at the lower level.
-
I think he already played one game there last week? The Selection Committee will make the correct call but I agree with you, if he needs another run at VFL level that is where he should play...although that comes with other risks - Ben Brown as an example
-
I really hope so. He makes our backline so much better. A very underrated player imo
-
So pleased that Petty is almost back. A vital cog in our defence
-
Agree totally with you HD. I really believe that Lever and Petty’s absence has been a huge loss for us. Petty is still seriously underrated imo
-
Happy to agree to disagree…Hunt Ok this week, Smith not imo
-
Close to BOG
-
I thought Smith had some terrible moments tonight. As soon as Petty or Lever are back Smith goes back to VFL. He just does not have a football brain despite his elite athleticism imo…Sam Frost Version 2

Weed needs to get on his bike and get involved up the ground early. It is a big opportunity for him and I hope he plays a good game. We need him performing for this exact scenario - BB or TMac being unavailable. I also think that he has the opportunity to take TMac's position in the team if he is good enough...not straight away but the opportunity is there. Go well Sam!

Maybe our most creative player by foot forward of centre. He is a vital cog in our team and is seriously underrated

Hunt is lost -
I understand that there is a large gulf in experience, power and size between them but we should feel very pleased we have Jake Bowey in the backline. He really assists with clean disposal and clear-headed decision making from the backline...not saying that he fully covers the hole left by Salem going out but his quick development to date really helps

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs

Big credits to TMac for going back and doing well last night when the team was re-shuffled to cover Salem's loss. He did well and is such a great swingman. Our forward line is so impressive being able to cover his loss- 386 replies

This does look good. I have been looking out for one of those shows where the players sit in front of a screen and recall the grand final. Does anyone know if we are likely to get one of those?

Agree with this. It’s strange that there is no mention of him -

I am convinced he will be a 10 + year player for us…he has what it takes. As hard as nails! -
You can add Marcus Adams to that list
