Personally i wouldn't. I think next year we could slide anywhere from 11th to 15th so a first round pick would be overs. But thats because we will surely get more injuries next year than we did this year and Simon running the show again doesn't instill any confidence.

Theres a reason TMac was the whipping boy many years ago. Its because as a defender he has OMac tendancies. if we keep TMac, we play him up forward with Brown and Weideman and pray hard to the Gods that TMac can turn it around. if anyone goes back, push Jackson back.

Smith isnt a good kick. his right leg collapses when he kicks on the run and he kicks a kot of helicopters. he can kick it a decent distance but doesn't have much finesse. i understand why we're chasing Smith because we're slow but with Goodwin coaching we're not in the premiership window. So getting Smith is wasted, even though i dont rate him anyway. Higgins is twice the player.

Why do people keep referring to Tom Mcdonald as being able to play in the backline? He showed consistently that he doesn't have the decision making skills to make it as a defender. And thats largely why he made it as a forward as he doesn't have to make decisions. just mark and kick for goal.

Isaac Smith isnt even that good. his kicking is highly suspect. definitely not worth a 3 year contract.

The good thing about Harmes playing a run with role is that it sets a defensive standard to the entire midfield group something that they severely lack in as evidenced in many games but especially the gws game where the game was on the line and Kelly was left on his own at the stoppage.

no idea who you're watching. Weideman goes hard at it. He's a joel selwood when compared to Jack Watts yet for some reason fans dislike Weideman. it's crazy. Weideman is fine. He's playing solo in a team that kicks it to him like [censored], a coach who probably puts him to sleep and he has senior 'mentors' like tom McDonald who he is better than and his past mentors in Hogan who have gone nowhere. when we have guys like Fritsch kicking behinds all day Weideman kicks a lot of goals in the goal square. its valuable. And so is he.
