  1. Nothing inspiring, nothing new, no specifics upon which to outwardly analyse options, no direct comments at all other than well-deserved praise for ANB's tagging role, no exploration of key remedies for performance. Notably, we no longer attempt to look into Goodwin's post-game pressers; fuddle-duddle, non-specifics. Particularly after a loss but also, after a win (that appears to be as random as his 'explanatory and sandy intents'. We linger on, once again.
  2. Fully agree, most of the games I've seen in the past two years fully emphasise this tendency - and we all thought that the long bomb era should be over by now. We do not have the cattle to receive this way; in turn, it just doubles our opponents' rebound opportunities, pressurising our backs and leaving our midfielders a return run of around 120metres every intercept, leaving the midline almost open to opposition progress.
  3. Distant Monarch, mother-in-laws cooking = Far King Disgusting. Pathetic planning for this match.
  4. It would be great (if he has the disposal skills and confidence) to re-kindle in our team some of the (lesser onfield crimes) attributes of Rodney the Grinter, the poise of a younger Gazza Lyon and the ... 'take 'em all on...' effectiveness of Neeta. We have been waiting, after all.
  5. If it is a question, Ol55, then my impressions are that all three may well develop into power forwards - time is an incredulous thing where initial abilities are present.
  6. Pleasing words of caution there, Nascent.
  7. We may have an increase in 'mongrel' (long overdue) for next season should he bulk-up, reach peak fitness and study Viney's attitude.
  8. Inconsiderate cause of enormous anxiety for those who support the Club.
  9. ... and it is another thing to (at the opportunity) to break free for receives, and with his booming kick, hit his target in the Dees' forward progression of the ball. He's done this, recently, without sole focus of defending against an opponent outside of their goal zone.
  10. That is a fact, Tomlinson can out-mark the smalls and finds space to so do.
  11. Just focus on something - that's the key issue of the round - it might be improved linkages, goal kicking, teamwork, speed and delivery, whatever - but I think Matthews has a point - footy can be an emotion-packed game to true supporters and we have deep feelings about the occurrence, the reviews, the outcomes; should Random Thuggy have a bad day then it is an emotional retribution and nothing more. It could be motivating, assisting the Dees to come together, win the game and grab the lollies dangling on the slate. Mongrel is mongrel, maiming opportunism is something else.
  12. We should have retained and groomed Yze.
  13. I retain some faith in Chandler and perhaps, Tomlinson; Petty may well surprise all of our 'naysaying' as he can turn it on.
  14. Selection for this week against the Filth is critical, delayed, non-communicative. If so many players being considered that minds and fitness cannot be related at this point (Sat), it looks like another loss coming up perhaps.
  15. Yep, great album.
  16. Seven out of five ... it made you feel as if you were part of the Premiership team; Max really put you there.
  17. Onyer, Vines. Mongrel Man, you made us all proud - several times over the years, but this was the icing on the cake. I insist that Goodwin shows this to the boys pre-game, the entire incident. If our whole team stood up for each other like this, the flags are ours! No speeches, just silent vision of the moment.
  18. Do you feel like I do? Same thoughts...
  19. These were some very good thoughts to take into account, and to address.
  20. I am wondering, with this absentee list from the Filth, that just perhaps, the gods of eternal damnation are about to smile upon us for a win - for a change. A loss, on the other hand, is now almost certainly the sole responsibilities of the snot goblins (with peas in their whistles - also a change, for once).
  21. Nice pair of shoulders, too. Going to be tough the out-bump him, just like it is for those allocated to knock Tracca out of the footy focus. Now, take Luker out of Goodwin's grasp and boring field of influence ... put someone special into his immediate development, like Gawny, Tracca and/with Williams (in fact, call in Neita for specific one-on-ones against the world).
  22. Cam was wonderful, so often, so 'needed' when the chips were down, so good at collecting unexpected marks and goals. I still dream that he is in the forward line when we are trailing miserably and need a red-hot poker insertion.
  23. It will give us something the quack about, based on impressions so far.
