Okay we are not playing but could we pop back into the eight after this round. Its been a funny season and we just might get back in.

I have to trust the football clubs decision as to who coach’s and as such have to trust the coach. But to have only beaten two Victorian teams in four years that trust is stretched to the limit. It looks like we go out to win the game but not beat the opposition i.e. they tag us out of the game we don’t try and do the same. I don’t expect to beat the top team just yet “nice to beat one of them now and again”. but that middle rung of North, Dogs etc we just have to beat. But like I said at the start I just have to trust that the football club is going in the right direction. I don’t want to go though another five year building plan.

If the AFL is as concerned as it claims to be on safty, then why not the compulsory head gear. I don't want to see it happen but players wear mouthguards for a reason and plenty of other bits and pieces. How can Trengrove lay two perfect tackles and be rubbed out twice.

Trengrove was only having a look if any umpires were near him, cant afford any more fines. The umpiring standard is all over the place at the moment. whats a tackle, what deliberate oob etc. If the umps arnt sure what hope do the players have.

If Melbourne somehow make the eight then 9 of the needed 11 wins will have come from the bottom 5 teams. Not looking good.

Lot of talk about us having played 3 games in a row with 6 day breaks. Team was very tired. Don't know if there is much in that but it is a young team. We did roll over last night and that hurt the most.
