honestly id back the goal umpires in. id do it like cricket. each team gets 1 and 1 ONLY (unless correct) to do a score review. anyone can call it. but youre not going to call it unless youre absolutely sure. get it wrong and waste it? you dont get any more.

I believe Maynard's was intentional as he'd been interviewed the week before saying he was going to make a statement and hurt people, but that's by the by. I think kozzie deserves a week. I think it's not a good look for us to appeal. BUT I hope we use "soligo moved into kozzies way" "kozzie was protecting himself" "he was just trying to smother" "it was a football act"

Genuine lol In the last 3 seasons before this west coast won 15 games. North: 9 and a draw. In 3 seasons. By the way, in 2012-14 we won 10. Tell em to get stuffed.

It's interesting isn't it as the knee lift isn't against the rules but there is obviously large potential for damage and even concussion. I can see them changing the rule down the line tbh

The socks is and always was a choice. Apart from ruckmen, no one wears shin pads as they would in soccer (and most of them only wear one). So the socks up was just fashion. Mind you I note the premier league players have replaced theirs with stamp size bits of plastic 😂😂

this is how it is in mid gippy. everyone gets a bye and then 4 of the last 5 rounds have 3 teams with a bye at the same time. then some poor team gets the bye in the last round before finals. a few years ago newborough had that bye and finished top - which gave them a week off in finals so they played, had a week off, another week off, big final which they won that put them in the GF, a week off and then the GF. so they played 2 games in just under 6 weeks...... and predictably got rolled in the GF by a team that had played the last 4 weeks without a break. 19 teams means theyd have to get rid of the pre-finals bye and move it to before the GF, surely
