  1. They aren't doing a whole lot with them, though. If we can break even there in the second half we'll be on our way to winning this game.
  2. A pleasing aspect is that, even though we've had more disposals, we have also had more tackles. That is a really good sign at this point that we're running hard both ways.
  3. Melksham again. Fantastic decision making and execution.
  4. Considering how poor we have been in first quarters, especially over the last month, this is a massive win for us.
  5. When Gawn returns, I am all for it. They obviously see the benefit of leaving Weideman forward, so they need that chop out ruckman which has to fall to him right now. I can't wait for Gawn to return so we can move on from him, though.
  6. He probably has a few durries tucked inside that mullet somewhere.
  7. His play on the forward flank after Pickett booted the ball forward was cringeworthy. He actually beat Moore to the ball and just put one hand out, as if he didn't want the contact. He could have taken possession and made something of it. It was terribly soft and reflective of where he is at as a footballer.
  8. Great start outside of the kicking for goal. We have been all over them and look the better side. One thing that has been good is our efficiency inside 50. We have looked dangerous every time it had gone in there.
  9. Damn it. Would have loved to keep them goalless for the term.
  10. Umps are on to the blocking off the ball. That's twice they have given us a kick for it. Long may it continue.
  11. We are half way to the 4 goals you wanted in the first term!
  12. We certainly haven't gotten out of the gates quickly over the last month. We stunk it up vs Port and didn't set the world alight against the Crows or Norf. As you say, it would nice to turn that around in about five minutes time.
  13. 170 odd posts before a ball has even been bounced suggests we're all pretty keen for this one. Even without Max or LJ, I'm backing the boys in to get the job done. Dees by 17 points.
  14. 'Research' and 'Collingwood supporter' never go in the same sentence.
  15. These can't be real. There aren't enough spelling errors.
  16. It seems as though Sparrow spends as much time forward as he does in the midfield, which will probably only increase with Viney coming back in. Sparrow will play more in that pressure forward role, which is different to the role Hannan would play, so I can see why they have kept him in the side. Hannan is probably more a Fritta/Melksham type player, and those two are our number 1 and 2 goal kickers this season, and they won't be dropped ahead of him. I agree with that. I think he will be very handy to have against the Pies as well.
