The trouble with TMAC is after an injury, it takes him a good 5-6wks to get into form and is usually woeful in that time. I wish he was fit and firing though.
  4. I'm not excited by Grundy at all. Injury prone and unsure where he fits in. Gawn isn't a forward and Grundy is a no.1 ruck.
  5. Such a talent wasn't he, and a shame.
  6. Wheres our KPF coming from? Ben King? Unsure whos around that is ready to go and proven.
  7. Did anyone complain about our easy draw last year after 2020? But yes, Cats were looked after this year....
  8. Good on ya mate, cheers for that. Look forward to seeing the other stats, very interesting break down hey.
  9. Good post Nev, very interesting and you can see with the eyes we arent anywhere near last year. Unsure if you have time, but I'd love to see the same stats applied to just i50's?? See what they compare v last year. Maybe its similar, but our connection and conversion is much worse? Maybe, just maybe, the switch was flicked v Brisbane.
  10. AFL must be counting the Brownlow votes first
  11. Its really disgusting, we expect from them
  12. Probably didn't register haha
  13. Couldn't agree more, its horrendous and those two above should be held accountable and expect better.
  14. The chances are impossible from what I'm told. But what a great player he was.
  15. The issue I have with TMAC is it takes him 6wks or so to get back into form, this worries me.
  16. You’d hope Viney, Petracca and Oliver would be a fair bit more above AFL average. This is what I was taking about today. We need more from them than possessions, we need more quality, not quantity
  17. But but we're loading....

  19. Yes I'd love to see it and if it actually means anything. I do know that the in game "pressure rating" is very pivotal for momentum shifts and whether a side is "on" however its very frustrating to not know whether this is the actual rating. When we are "on" our pressure rating is 200+
  20. I just wonder if its in their minds and not fitness..... Last year our 3rd quarters were pretty good. The prelim and GF we blew Cats and Dogs off the park. I wonder if all the effort and no reward (scoreboard) is taking its toll, players throw the towel in a bit. We need to be smarter with our entries, that includes Oliver and Petracca, who should be nailing passes inside 50. Seeing them bomb long will affect the second tiers. Its obvious the game plan is kick it in quick and try and hold it there, however this only works if the forwards pressure is relentless, ie; repeat entries and shots. We can minimise our efficiency by being smarter and efficient and thats on the coaches from here. We are running out of time.
  21. Did anyone else see the stat on the screen the other night that in 2022, we are 17th for pressure? Whether it meant pressure acts, around the ball or in the forward line I'm not sure. But is damn right lazy and we wont win a thing unless that improves, especially in the F50.
  22. This is exactly the problem. By locking it in there, it sets up up the defence upfield, thats our gameplan. Forwards need a rocket. Oh and I never want to see Ben Brown in the last line of defence ever again.
  23. All I'll say is we shouldve put them away in the first half but a long shot. Very poor. Some experienced MIA when it counted, you guys know who they are. P1ssed off
  24. I'm tipping it'll be a slogfest
  25. Very true mate. I think his best footy is behind the ball but every now and then he goes forward and has a blinder. Still dont think we get enough goals out of him though, or our mids in general.
