  1. I did try to warn you guys a while back that I wouldn't be surprised. I did hear he was keen on a move back home. I don't believe it has anything to do with Watts but may be a cop out and excuse to say goodbye. At least my source was right. We hold the cards in both Lever and Hogan deals if they were to happen. If Jesse does leave, the Watts excuse is BS, hes going for his own reasons. I dont want him to leave but how can you not help a kid out that's been going through what he has?
  2. Unsure sorry mate, I think average votes per game he would've been in top 10 but don't know exact rules they have.
  3. Only an assumption here, but with Jesse's dad passing this year you wouldn't think she would've moved to Melbourne so quickly, unless just ST to support Jesse while he was sick. Still WA based I'd say.
  4. Club Champion Voting Protocol1 vote: Played their role. Solid game without significant influence on the game2 votes: Played his role well and influenced the game3 votes: Played his role very well with significant influence on the game4 votes: Played his role outstandingly and dominated the game Source: Crows website
  5. Watts will go to Geelong, out of Melb and in to a premiership chasing team, they'll be without Motlop and Menzel & he's already been heavily endorsed by Dangerfield. I wish him the best and I hope he gets a flag out of it, because thats all that matters at the end of the day. We are all here to chase that cup.
  6. Of course he was, he's a senior player and semi veteran of the club, of course the FD would expect a higher output from him and rightly so.
  7. I'm with you on this. I thought I did hear the figure $500k per year on the radio but that number may be incorrect. They were saying $1.3m a season all up
  8. Have you heard what they're going to pay him for an "ambassador" role? He's going to be the highest paid player in the comp soon.
  9. Are we actually still using Leading Teams? They only list Haw and Frem on their website
  10. Where did you hear this and is it true? I'd love to have watched it! Belting the crap out of each other.
  11. @Demonland You should do a Jack Watts supporters podcast lol
  12. Maybe because Charlie is still contracted and they will make him stay? Also, he's indigenous and didn't want to disrespect him? I don't know, just adding some potential reasons.
  13. If you're referring to Hogan - it'll be what Jesse wants, not a forced trade by the club. If you're referring to Watts - well, he ain't quality IMO, he's a fragile gazelle in the headlights.
  14. Unfortunately I think the AFL will cheat the system and force Tom to be unhappy and stay! There isn't too many around this year though is there? I'd love Curnow, but can't see that being an option.
  15. I agree, but I was just throwing a name up there as a potential replacement? Due to bad happenings, Hogan has also under achieved due to bad luck (back, family, cancer). Can you think of any other potential forwards available and throw a name in?
  16. I'd do it if JH wanted to go home for family reasons, but we would need a ready to go forward to replace him, either in the trade or with pick 5, but I don't think there is too many available off the top of my head? Unless you can think of any, maybe Darling? Hope he stays though.
  17. He was also lucky to come back in for the Coll game IMO, didn't shoot the lights out in the VFL from what I've seen
  18. I'd now say, we have thought about this, it's now P10 or he goes to the draft. Stop F-ing us around, we mean business.
  19. I've been hearing that also, I first mentioned it a month ago. Nixon reckons its a done deal but club denies it and Hogan said no not long ago. Maybe something has changed or they are keeping it quiet? Would not surprise me after the year he has had, but I hope he doesn't go.
  20. Which is what he is payed to do, week in week out and is the standard that Goodwin now expects Exactly. People should be praising the Club for having the balls to make the hard calls to build a winning culture and set much higher standards, both on and off field. If it was Petracca I could understand the angst, but not Watts, I just can't see why people don't "get it." It's got nothing to do with his QB goal or being a nice bloke.
  21. Bont is the only similar comparison IMO, the rest, well.....
  22. You are forgiven DAG, enjoy your weekend mate. It is the silly season after all
