I don't think anything said here has contributed to Watts being on the trade table. Speculation was created by Jones, Goodwin, Mahoney and McCartney causing everyone to worry about whats going on. If they had of handled it in house and professionally then it wouldn't have got to such hysteria. But I do see your point and fully respect your posts.

This is news to me, McCartney even kicking the boots in? This club has cocked up the whole shebang, could've done it respectfully and similar to Impey situation.

It is very sad and Jack is a nice lad, no denying that. I do feel really sorry for him and we did let him down in his younger years. We don't know why all this is happening, or the motive from the club, I do agree it's been handled poorly, from Goodwin/Jones to Mahoney. Clearly the club has lost patience with him over whatever reason, all we see is his inconsistency so can only assume. Jones dug in and busted his gut when the cookies crumbled, Watts possibly hasn't. But it is sad to see his family hurt & that it is our club that has done this. My opinion on Jacks "effort" remains but I still feel for him. Bizarre set of circumstances that I hope we eventually find out what happened.

I've been hearing good things about this kid over the weekend, I'll do some research tomorrow. If anyone has any footage please post.

Jesus mate, it was clearly a joke and a bit of fun, as have been most of my posts today. And yes, I cant wait to get rid of him and start being a serious footy club again, top bloke but I'm sick of him being a pee heart. Some of you are too emotional over Jacky boy. I cannot believe some posters have gone to the extraordinary lengths to mention players from the 80's and 90's as a comparison to the way football is played today. Watts v Dunstall, Stynes and Flower some absolute corkers lol One thing those 3 did give every time though was effort.

Why can't people realise this, he won't "get it" and never has or ever will "get it." He's Jack, the nice boy who plays footy for a hobby, his heart isn't in it. What you don't pay in your membership, I will upgrade to all the bells n whistles. Good on the club for showing some balls and making the hard calls, no player is bigger than the club. Also, re salary cap, I'm fairly certain this was also considered, ie; the most senior player on the most cash who's under performing.

Unless you have the facts of what happened then you are wasting your time, for all we know there may be issues in which we'd all be happy for him to leave and pay him out. Who knows...it'll all come out in the wash eventually
