  1. Jeez Mason Cox irks me, smug, mouthy, cocky turd.
  2. Thats where the frustration is though OD, last year we beat top of the ladder Adel in SA, WCE in Perth and took it up to Richmond and would have won if not for injuries......but this year, we are not even close, so the question is, have we actually gone backwards?
  3. I said it'd most likely be 2, however I think we need 4 to have better structure, if that happens over a couple of weeks then all good
  4. Would it promote more collusion? Or does it work OK?
  5. I'm with you mate, totally over Gil and his radical rubbish. Next year could be the year I walk away from it altogether.
  6. When a player plays bad, its "oh they were tagging so and so" - a demonland habit thats only crept in lately. Denial is the first sign of failure they say.
  7. Do the predictor, have a crack.
  8. Am thinking a little re-jig here and maybe outside the box. Do you bring in a kid who has been emergency, or reward recent form? Maybe give Petty a game for next 3 otherwise replace with Frost. Will probably only be 2 changes but this looks a better balanced team to me, what we are doing isnt working In: Weideman, Petty, Spargo, Stretch Out: T.Smith, Vince, J Smith, Tyson B: Salem, O McDonald, Jetta HB: Hibberd, Frost/Petty, Lewis C. Melksham, Viney, Fritsch HF: T McDonald, J Hogan, Harmes F: N Jones, Weideman, Petracca Foll: Gawn, Brayshaw, Oliver I/C: , , Hannan, Stretch, ANB, Spargo I've edited this 20 times, not easy but did my best.
  9. And I hope he does get weeks.
  10. They flooded early but agree he should be played forward.
  11. Interesting comments from Brereton over the weekend that he reckons Hogan has lost confidence in crashing packs, my take was that Goodwin has confused him and he doesn't know whether to be a midfielder or a KPF. Apparently 7 times on Friday night Hogan didn't jump for the ball but turned around front and square and tried to rove.
  12. I'm not debating he shouldn't get weeks, I hope he gets his fair serve, however remembering a players whole career because of it? Forgive and move on, in time.
  13. Updated running prediction
  14. SWYL, I played and coached senior football for many years, I've had the injuries, I get it. What I don't get and think it's stupid, is you wanting to remember a players career over one incident. He most certainly is a star, that plays aggressively, would've loved to have had him last Friday night
  15. Let go of the past, otherwise you wont enjoy the future. Have a nice day.
  16. He is out of hospital already. Can happen with any clash, yes it was a dog act but why remember his whole career from one incident? He's a star of the game who stuffed up, went to Andrews post match and apologised. He'll get weeks, we move on, jeez.
  17. As I said, take a look at Vince and Lewis careers, plus Bugg last year. WGAF, don't be so dramatic.
  18. No he mustn't, he made a mistake, he most likely wont do it again, stop the hate and forgive. We have Bugg, Vince and Lewis who have all done stupid things also.
  19. I’d be surprised if that was the case, I reckon if any bleeding it would be from the chest from the fall. But if true, hope he’s ok
  20. Starting this thread early as it's shaping for a big weekend ladder wise and for the Dees. Who do we want to win these crunch games Rich v Syd (THURS) - I hope Tigers win, we don't want any interstate teams in the top 4. WB v Cats - Cats are definitely not playing their best this year and Dogs played OK v North and you don't know what they'll bring. A Dogs win hopefully Carl v Port - Carlton played well yesterday and Port aren't as good as people reckon, they actually played awful v Dees and we still found a way to lose. Upset highly unlikely but game is at the MCG. Adel v WCE - Can the Crows at home upset a vulnerable WCE? GC v Coll - Collingwood win easily GWS v Haw - Hoping GWS win, Hawks are zoning in on a top 8 finish Melb v STK - We need to win and win big, keep that percentage up, 50+ win would be nice Ess v North - I think Bombers will win this, North doing their usual start the season well and folding this year I'd say, Ess win helps us. All this is irrelevant if we cant beat the good teams, we need to play finals. Our best last year v good teams is better than this year, I still think our team is unbalanced, need another tall defender to free up the runners and we need a crumbing forward. We have quite a few passengers, especially in the bigger games, stop playing Tmac on a wing and Hogan as a midfielder. If Rich, WB, Carl, Adel, Coll, GWS, Melb, Ess win we will be 5th still with WCE likely team to fall from the 4 over coming weeks. We lose and favourites win we will be 9th after this coming round. v Coll we had a chance to nail 2nd, v Port we shouldve won and top 4. Tough game footy, you have got to turn up from the bounce to the end, or it's all over in a flash.
  21. I'm really disappointed in Garlett, he's a match winner and what we are lacking so much up forward, I just wonder what he's been sent back to do? And if he is one of those players who will never play well at VFL.
  22. I'd prefer someone from a winning culture and finals experience, a big no from me. We need to replace Vince with the next Hodge, Lewis can play VFL next year in a coaching role developing juniors.
  23. We should have finished 8th last year, this year we should be aiming higher, and I actually think internally they are as Goodwin keeps saying he knows what they are capable of achieving, make no mistake, we have failed dismally this year in big games.
  24. Totally sick of watching footy, different rules each week. Supporters are over it. Poor spectacle and they want to make more rule changes in October when they don’t even understand the current ones
