That's provided they are currently at the top of their game. I think they are too, but who really knows.
-
Haha, if you need therapy we probably all do. I feel ill just thinking about them winning the flag. I'd take anyone above them atm.

You know the thing about the cats, they never seem to overuse the handball, it's generally one or two followed by a kick. Even when we're playing well, we just seem to overdo it, and that issue has plagued us since Neeld. There have obviously been games that are the exception but too few and far between.

Gee, that was a soft 50m penalty to the cats.

Our play has been one dimensional this year yet we've still managed 12 wins and I do wonder if Goody has a range of moves up his sleeve that will be rolled out in finals and not before. This is what gives me hope that we haven't been overtaken by the contenders and that we will shock everyone come the end of the season. Whilst this may be a utopian view of the season, it is the hook on which my hat has been firmly hung.

Great album

😁....and that's the million $ question. Who knows how we will finish the season.
-
As it currently stands 5 teams on 48 points at the top of the ladder. If the blues were to get up, that would be 6 on 48+ points before we play....this is not the game we want to lose.

I'd be very interested in understanding the relationship between injuries, especially soft tissue injury and loading. Do any Demonlanders have knowledge in this area?
-
I sincerely believe this is the case. The Lions were not "on", when we played them, nor were they against the Bombers.
-
I'm not sure that he was ever a great one on one contested mark but was excellent on the lead due to his height....but I reckon good key backmen have him worked out. This year I've noticed his opponent make strong side-on contact early in the lead which throws him off balance. Rather than change direction and offer a different option he gives up on the lead altogether and ends up flat-footed.

Thanks Sideshow!!
-
Why would the Pies need to pay Sideshow...to pay out his existing contract?
-
It's not the ones we're giving away, it's the ones the Crows are giving and not called.
-
Good to see BBB looks OK. Crows aren't this good...what's going on?
-
Very frustrating game to watch. Weid is struggling, umpires are missing every Melbourne free kick, BBB injured...but I think we will still win. [censored] our big man stocks are thin now.
-
Probably loading DubDee.
-
...and maybe this is how Weid gets into form. If he focuses on those one percenters and builds his confidence contributing in that way the rest may just start to fall into place. I really hope he can do it.

A question regarding Rivers performance on the weekend if I might? I only managed to see a shortened version, hacked to bits on the AFL app. Unfortunately for Riv, all I saw was him absolutely butchering the ball twice. How was the rest of his game?
-
Well the high and severe components of the charge would never have changed...so the Cats achieved their objective.
-
Exactly, he saw the opportunity and took it. He no doubt realised the consequences of his actions very quickly and felt sincerely sorry about it...not really the point is it. He may have been upset that he'd let his team down, knowing that he may get a lengthy suspension.

Typical Cats, trying to get on the front foot to spin the whole thing. I couldn't care less about Stewart's "apparently" amazing ability to refocus and impact the game in the later stages or that he's such a great guy and didn't mean it. He could have meant it and nobody would be the wiser. Also, how about Prestia's opportunity to impact the game, he could easily have been the difference in that game. Anybody would think Stewart was the victim, the way the media bang on about it. Sorry, Scott and the Cats [censored] me to tears.

Not sure if I'm seeing things but the Cats appeared to get the rub of the green all day long.

Not taking anything away from the win, the boys were ruthless and I expect we would have won irrespective of how well the Lions played, but our opposition looked very flat tonight. They just never got going really, so their atrocious record at the G continues. Whether by design or attitude that was a huge turnaround in intensity by our boys.

That was selfish play Fritsch
