  1. I think you have to sit next to Daryl Somers
  2. The AFL seems to have no shame whatsoever. Imagine the uproar if this was the case with the men's comp? What does it say to the women? The grand final venue decision was pretty stupid last year. The laws of the game and how they're applied, the match review process and suspensions, the Hawthorn investigation, a new stadium in Hobart when there's already one there and taking huge amounts of money from betting companies is all just a big mess. The club's spend a lot of time working on improving culture yet they're governed by an organisation that seems to be run like a gold coast bucks party. Btw That's so cool that some of the women are training with the blokes. Looking forward to seeing another flag this year if the granny isn't held in Nevada as some sort of cross promotional betting agency exhibition match.

Yes! Lots. Yes by lots. Brisbane are the Nickleback of season 2023. Why are they where they are on the ladder? At least the Gabba will soon be demolished and they'll have to play at ummmm.

So I've had a few beers and I'm trying to work out how I watched the reigning premiers last night who are playing so bad this year and tonight the grand finalists being so garbage against a team that are exactly like Geelong last year who just keep winning at home but really aren't that good but somehow are near the top #anditsdoimgmyheadin So far I've deduced 1. Brisbane could potentially be this year's Geelong which is frightening. 2. Swans have fallen off a cliff 3. Geelong's wheels are wobbling and I hope we put a stick in their spokes next week And.....If we had our own home ground, would we be on top?

On Monday he called Joel Smith Steven May. So similar

A blatant push in the back to push his opponent out and goal. Ump right there.

Geez Dixon moves with the pace and grace of a prawn trawler these days

He'd go alright beside JVR and Fritta

4 corners on Monday night was interesting. AFL pulls direct percentages on bets wagered with betting companies. Gets about $40 million a year in income I think it was. A close game is a lucrative game. Keeps people wagering.

    Which week was that?

I think it's only fair that Gellong gets to play all of their games at their construction site.

I'm hating how much I'm enjoying this. BTW who is Christensen going to cite from Melbourne if we have a bye this week? Maybe 2 against the cats to keep things on track.
  13. It wasn't a marking contest, Harrison received a handball and Salo swung an arm (not fist) into his stomach to tackle him. It was just a hard tackle in the clinches and seemed to just wind him. Ridiculous to be fined for that.
  14. Just watched the replay. What a great contest. What a spectacle a demons vs pies granny could be. A lot of people getting into David King for flip flopping but to be honest I and many others on this site probably had their doubts after our losses to Essendon and Port and our wobbly win against Carlton. Monday was different. Like 2021, it looked like we were being selfless and playing for each other. I loved the way we broke their running waves. So many of our players where the ball carrier would get past them would straight away block and scrag other pies players from joining that wave. So much great body work and one percenters all day once we settled after the first ten minutes. On the counter offensive, we just ran for each other and attacked as a cohesive hard as nails team. I was worried we were going to waste our season this year but that win instilled a lot of belief we can do it this year. It must be great for the players and coaches confidence too. Go Dees.
  15. And yet week after week the likes of BT tend to mention that our supporters don't show up.
  16. Isn't there some sort of demerit system though? If he fronts up again this year, the fine will count against him? Is that correct. Wouldn't put MC lining him up for finals. The guy needs to be sacked.
  17. Evidently Tracc has apologised to Cox, so Mason's been very gracious and accepted his apology according to Cox's podcast. https://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/disgusting-messages-sent-after-heated-postsiren-afl-spat/news-story/293d287b8a00f184646e350fc218e35b
  18. BT called Joel Smith , Steven May at one point. I'm positive that Tim Watson called his colleague, Nathan Jones, "Jones" at one point. I reckon Jonesy is doing a pretty good job at special comments. The rest of them were window lickers yesterday
  19. Yep, 2nd QTR I think. JVR had no opponent and was free in the goal square and Fritsch just had to block his opponent. But Bailey flew and spoiled JVR. Fritta and ANB flew at each other later in the game too. I think we might have found our 3rd tall with Smith yesterday. Petty was not quite the answer and is just a rock down back. Fritsch is out best and most senior forward now and needs to take that leadership role down front to work in synch with the others, especially JVR as a mentor. If they can work together as a unit and Kozzie stays on the ground, it will help with our conversion rate immensely. And goal kicking practice for everyone, especially some drop punts for Trac!
  20. I noticed right from the start we generally worked harder into the corridor today. It felt good!
  21. I remember how we used to lament Jack's poor disposals and hack kicks forward Absolutely love how he's worked on his kicking. He's becoming a weapon kicking into our forward line now. Just loved his game today
  22. There's lots to choose from
  23. Even it up ump
  24. He's straightening us up since he came back in.
  25. Take a bow Jack (once we've nailed them)
