  1. I agree. I think JVRs challenges are. Chaotic forward structure and delivery. A complete lack of confidence. Last year he was finally starting to clunk those marks and now he's gone completely backwards. His whole career here he's had [censored] delivery and no second big forward to really give him cover. Most of the time ending up under a bomb in a big pack getting pushed under the ball. I'd love to see two good key forwards working together in a well functioning team. I'd probably have to watch a different club though.
  2. I hope they're not paper, they'll explode 😁 One thing we don't see much of is people getting dropped for poor form and effort and those in the VFL getting rewarded. Why wouldn't you drop Fritsch and bring in Jeffo? It can't be any worse. You may as well give him a chance now.
  3. Richmond would have gone through this with Hardwick. There comes a time in any workplace when you've done a decade and it's time to move to a new environment and learn new things. The sooner we cut the cord, the better. I'd rather try Chaplin (or another assistant)for half a season or more and give them a fair crack at turning things around. The writing is on the wall and delaying it until the end of the season damages the players and the club.
  4. That's called a preseason
  5. Yeah I worry that those two could get ruined and become our new versions of Grimes and Trengove. Anyone see Petracca pissing himself laughing at the centre bounce to start the second quarter? We're definitely not playing team first desperate footy. There was some debate over AJ vs Fritsch back a page or two. I don't think AJ will ever be one of our best but at least he's showing leadership with his contests and second efforts. He works for his team mates and worked really hard again today. Goodwin never seems to follow through and drop our first tier players for their lack of form, effort and team first competitive attitude. We might find one or two Neville Jettas on the fringe if we put some solid game time into a few. That doesn't mean running them as sub for two weeks getting splinters in their [censored] then dropping them. Gawn is now starting to slide and it does my head in to see JVR, our number one forward who seems completely wigged out right now having to play second ruck. He is completely devoid of confidence. There's a few out there at the moment that are not busting their guts for their coach or their team mates. That's unnacceptable
  6. The mind boggles how Fagan got the lions back on track last year after a 0 - 4 start. That takes a special kind of culture and coach. We seem to be breaking down going forward. I'm sure the coaches will be on to it quick stix this week. Get the broom out.
  7. Casey fell apart in the last as well. Seemed to run out of legs
  8. I think they pulled 3 Selwood specials in a row then nothing for us.
  9. We're not going to get a free in the last 3 mins
  10. Not sure about our fitness? Geelong going a bit harder?
  11. Is anyone on here or does anyone know an adult called Josh that likes meing called. "Joshy"? It annoys me and my name's not Josh
  12. A great transition through the centre corridor and then a poor kick into our f50. Back up the other end for a goal
  13. Terrible blind kick out of defence by Sestan, turnover goal tractor riders
  14. That was such a gift. Mind blowingly stupid and biased decision
  15. Tom Fullerton, you must be on a plane to Adelaide. Fifth goal after a great burst out of the centre bounce by the dees
  16. Fantastic one handed contested mark and goal by Paddy Cross
  17. Gee, as we get tired, we just fall back to going along the boundary. Skills and kicking are getting poor and lazy.
  18. That bloke just crumpled to the ground to pull that high tackle free
  19. Go Dees. Poor kicking decision by Billings. Gets it back and does really well
  20. He's the new Pedo I.e. Cam
  21. He's a dead set cert for the seniors now #inform
  22. It seems to be an eternal trend for Dees to give one straight back after kicking a goal. Happened three times in a row that quarter kicking 3 good goals giving it back within 2mins every time. We played pretty well that quarter. Just need to focus and make the most of the opportunities
  23. Geez the runner really shirked the contest then. Pull him off
  24. Geez, I really like AJ. He just bulldozed through to kick that goal. Well done. Multiple involvements in that one
