The booing from Port fans really makes me support the Hawks. I hope they tear them a new one. Well a second new one after the cats work.

Port better be on from the start. Let this Hawks team have a jump would be hard to wind back. I feel that because it's at home and the fact they won six in a row that Port can and will fight back. I know I previously sang the Hawks strengths prior in this thread but I don't think last week's thrashing has ruled Port out. Too much at stake and it's at their home ground. I guess it's a toss up. Sums up this year's season. Look at us ....we finished 14 th. Won three of the games we lost by less than a goal and we would have finished 7 the and the Hawks 8 th.

Good news He had a ripper season in 23 before I reckon his injury cost a flag ( along with Gus going down) I must say prior to last year he had a couple or more fairly inconsistent seasons. Even after coming back this year he came back on fire but then went quiet. I guess flattening out at the end of this year he had a good excuse in terms of fitness and conditioning But last year and a couple of games this one, he's proven he still has what it takes. For his size he has great strength and takes some great marks. Hard at the contest and not afraid of being bruised. Adds a little bit of " controlled" agro up forward.

I don't have any expectations at all. After the way we finished, some poor pickups from other clubs and players wanting to leave it's hard to fathom this club has a real winning passion and culture. I deeply appreciate players like Max and Jack and a couple of others but I feel the club was extremely complacent after winning one flag. I guess it happens ...pies were a bust this year. Dogs kinda fell of the map after a cup. It's just so disappointing to see us fall so far from 2021 to now. If we don't make finals next year and tbh I don't see it happening, then I'd be happy to thank Goodwin for all he's done and send him on his way. I feel even now, it wouldn't be too bad to part company. I feel there is a lot of noise and distraction at the club and a fresh coach and enthusiasm would be a positive start to 2025. And a nice big broom to sweep all those who have not performed and don't want to be there. Adios amigos. I guess what I want is a flag...... but I certainly don't want people who don't give everything or complain about playing for us. A very interesting scenario in betting odds tonight. Despite finishing second on the ladder, well above the Hawks and playing at home with a loud supporter base, Port Adelaide are not favorites to win on any betting site. And despite the Power's victory run in the last 6 home and away games, the Hawks seem very strong contenders with all the bookies. Will they bow out in straight sets like us? How much noise will there be. Losing 2 at home where the advantage is not the same at our Mcg is bigger news. In normal circumstances, it would be hard to resist backing Port but the Hawks ability to rapidly gain momentum and boot bags of five will most likely see them through. Plus I hate the Power as much as Hawthorn but I hate Port's toothless supporters even more. 😀 Enjoy the game. Ps. Sad that we smashed the Hawks earlier in the season and accounted for the Power at Adelaide Oval. Such a hard case to find a team to support in these finals. Probably the Johnny come lately in GWS.
