  1. We are totally lost. Totally chasing our own tails. It's a worry. Dogs hit the post twice. Our midfield is non existent.
  2. Come on Viney. One touch isn't enough. Your a leader remember.
  3. Playing like season trip already booked
  4. Um....Oliver turns back onto traffic so he can kick blindly to nobody. Wth?
  5. Come on Melbourne...stick the tackling.
  6. Backs well and truly against the wall tonight. Win and we still keep hope alive. No more chances.
  7. Had a mean streak at times but was still the greatest. Wicked sense of humor.
  8. I know we shouldn't win tonight but I betting we will. Dees by twenty seven.
  9. Sorry about the double....I've started early.
  10. I was going to quip that someone had put vodka in your water bottle "again" but then had a closer look. Yep you picked the wrong week to give up the old Metho. Don't worry, what you spend on Liver tests is offset by the savings on beers you make at Marvel these days.
  11. It has me puzzled as well. Oliver and Lever were our best. Oliver gets votes for me. But in a game we almost won( or just lost), it was hard to find votes for our players.
  12. Last time we met, Tracca,May, Lever, Max and Tmac were in cheat touch with 50 marks between them. Chandler was in scintillating form as he is at the start of seasons with three sausage rolls and even Bbb kicked two Oliver played his best game of the season. The drive from our backline we had was immense then and something that Gws recently showed us up in.
  13. Yep. You can't lose most of your close games and expect finals.
  14. Well this came around fast. Win this and we have a sniff.
  15. Waverly was a challenge. I'm surprised at the numbers they actually got at times . What a terrible location and design. Perfect for the Dees supporters snowmobiles as the car park mud was a nightmare.
  16. Time for the Dlanders who ran over a black cat to fess up.
  17. Right leg been acting up something awful No but we do seem to have their measure. From the famous film the Castle... " It's a vibe" Plus less than half our players fronted up against Gws and we almost won. So if we play 10 per cent better footy we've got this
  18. Still think we can make finals. Beat the dogs and Port and we have the momentum and motivation to win the last two But how long we last in finals is a different story. Hopefully enough to change the narrative of straight sets.
  19. Usually tell people off for these sorts of posts. But calling the only team to win a flag in over fifty years a disgrace is going way too far.
  20. This is a must win. I actually like our chances. Mind you I thought that about the Giants. Out... Woey and perhaps Bowey. In ...young Brown and maybe Sparrow( slim pickings if I'm honest). Turner to get a full game so not sure which from the ins or Laurie to sub. If we lose it's still possible I guess to sneak into the finals as I believe 13 wins will qualify. At the end of the day I just want us to kick cwoods ar*e even if we are not a chance to play finals. I mean that's the real win. Let's not lose perspective here๐Ÿ˜ƒ1
  21. Top post. Yes for many there are real impediments to getting to games. Health ... absolutely for some. Logistics..... surprisingly high number of Dlanders live outside Vic. And money.....in these challenging financial times it's a fair excuse. But as you say those who don't go for protest reasons are shooting themselves in their kicking foot and the club as well. I was surprised at the crowd numbers on a game that we could have one( and almost did). A game when finals were on the line. Alas the weather was iffy but that brings to mind the expression of fair weather supporters. I do think we can do better than we did. Thanks to all of you who braved the elements and rocked up. Well done.
  22. Yes to Rivers and maybe Mcvee. But certainly for me Lever was well and truly overlooked. Our second best after Oliver.
