Henderson took 15 marks which is a great effort. Its incredible Max got to take that mark somewhat uncontested. Great kick from Lever. I bet he'd be a great forward.

Just because I can't get enough of footy talk I thought I put this out for the true football brains trust to determine. Is this team better than the 2018 team and why? Lever and May to say the obvious one but what else?

Clearly demonstrated in the cats second qrt onslaught imho.

I mentioned in a post that when watching live it seemed were playing poorly. But i think i have too much emotion at times. Watching the replay we were not doing too much wrong. We didn't stick a few tackles as well as we could.Defence got a bit overwhelmed from cats doing really well with centre clearances. But a few of those were from free kicks. Cats seemed to get lucky bounces and the fall of kicks. It happens in a strange way at times. But the umpiring on the whole was below par especially with the insufficient intents. I reckon in about seven of our last eight games we won the free kick count on one occasion. I'm so glad were not playing port at home. Good luck to the cats i reckon.

What happens if we face port in a prelim.... Does anyone know where it would be played.

Was so happy for the doogies to win a flag. Its hard not support a team thats missed out for fifty plus years. The more the merrier.

Not sure if cats will get up against port. Its a tough crowd. With selwood, danger and hawkins still good players they are all over 31 this could be the end of an era.

Love to see him in the middle for a while.

Besides given the free kick differential, someone has to help fix it.

Hi Dlanders Does anyone know if we win where we will play the prelim. If port win we dont want to be playing in adelaide. Finishing first....is it our call?

Tmac is certainly a confidence player and being absent was going to have a say. Hell bounce back. Especially finals. Also was responsible for our winning streak at the start.

Im pretty sure that's what he was saying to the cats player who he jumper punched and had the free reversed. It was worth it.

Funny enough we drew within a kick with ten mins to go in the last. It seemed in the last five cats were trying to run out the clock. The irony of Max kicking the winner was supreme but stressful to watch. He looked nervous.

Watched the first half of the replay yesterday and the umps really gave a lot of frees in that half to cats that resulted in goals. Most of them were awarded in the middle. But the three insufficient intents or whatever you call them were way off. Especially Gus's in the last min of the game. What motive could he have had ....we were losing. Also there were a couple of cats ones that just were not called. Umpiring was very inconsistent and as such very poor. Also watching the game live I thought we were playing really poorly in that onslaught. But watching the replay we didn't seem to be doing too much wrong apart from not sticking the odd tackle and poor communication. Cats just got on top of the centre clearances and got a good run from umps . Danger was on fire and Hawkins was getting on top. Having dangerfield off in the last qrt for a while really helped us out. He is an awesome player. Tmac had an absolute shocker but not playing for a while it was understandable. We need him back in some kind of form. I also thought the umps were not paying htb on cats players going to ground and rolling over on it. Funny I thought no crowd would make a difference with the umps. Maybe it did.😮 Gee Max may have been average early on but wow did he storm home. Full credit to Oliver for kicking true for once. You too Max.

If we beat Lions and Port win and then cats win their second final we play Geelong again in a prelim....is this correct?

I reckon that win would have gutted cats fans. It was theirs to lose and they are so used to winning at kardinia. Oh well😁

We all were in spirit mate. We will remember this one forever and hopefully talk about how it contributed to a flag. Been so long since we have been minor premiers and what a way to do it. Ill never know you posters but i felt last night after the win i kinda do. Enjoy the day sons and watch the replay if you can.
