I wish that lightning bolt created the 1.21 GW of electricity needed to take the MCG back to 1964 to remind us what it takes to win a flag.

Agreed. I remember watching him play at the G in 2004 vs Port Adelaide. Beautiful sunny afternoon, the boys in bay 13 in full voice. Neita kicked 6, we won by 9 goals. Fond memories. Sadly missed.

I was a trident member this year and still weighing up the cost. To be honest, I love going to games, but my daughter who I was going with, isn't interested in footy anymore. I took her to the guard of honor for the Port game and she loved it, though that this might have got her hooked on the club. I was severely underwhelmed by the clubs response when I tried to chase the photos that the club took on the day. Still yet to receive them after sending countless emails, no one responds. Admin side of the club and member engagement is poor. Particularly compared to what other clubs do. Feel as members we are often taken for granted, Richmond are a great example of how to grow a membership base during periods of poor performance.
My boy has done the guard of honour twice, and loved it. They generally post the guard of honour photos on their Facebook page. Worth checking.

The redback jumper is perfect when playing the Blues and Saints. Front on you can easily distinguish players but from the back the two dark back jumpers are difficult to differentiate.
You shouldnt be kicking the ball at somebody’s back Dr G! (Especially Gus)

Wouldn’t be the first player to have a renaissance at his second club, but I reckon we’re still better off overall.

Why not, his big and strong can run and tackle and has kicked goals from outside 50. Go Frosty......
Frost is not a goal kicker. Coaches tried that 2 years ago and, to their credit, tried for a lot longer than I would have. He’s a strong rebound defender.

what profit do we earn from poker machines anyhow?
This graphic taken from a Herald Sun article in April - shows clubs revenues from Pokies in yellow...we'd need to find something like 22-25% of $45M in revenues equivalent if we were to drop the pokies. It's a problem - the difference between Nth Melb and Carlton is only the pokie generated revenue.

I thought Daisy was our expansion strategy into a new supporter base

Round 4 1998, Carlton v Melb at Princes Park. Dees by 2 pts. Absolute cracker, within a goal all day. Nobody kicked a goal for the last 10 mins and the ball richocheted from one end to the other. It felt like one goal would finish it either way. I can’t remember having felt better leaving the ground giving [censored] to my blues supporting best mate.

All that said, my current favourite player is 29.
(number, not age)

I think the only thing you’ve botched is saying Pedersen isn’t starting 22. He is ?% starting 22. Hands are as good as Hogan’s reliable Kick has a massive tank and can play ruck.
Hope he starts rd1 and makes Weiderman warm his spot. If the Weid starts rd1 on potential again I’ll be annoyed.
I don’t disagree with this at all Mud Dog. This is exactly how ive felt with OMac. But I guess the OMac example has taught me that by giving these kids games now, against my better judgement, they will be at both their physical peak with high levels of confidence when our run of four peat of flags commences.

Wouldnt we just play St Kilda 11 times, Brisbane 6 times, Gold Coast 3 times and Collingwood twice all at the G?

You might want to have a shave and take those glasses off Ethan before you go to the park to play on the swings. Looks a bit creepy otherwise.
