2026 Injury List
- Farewell Steven May
All the best for the future, Maysie! Thank you for your massive contribution to our first Premiership in 57 years!- CASEY: Practice Match vs Richmond
Casey will be able to add McAdam, Campbell, White, Onley, Johnson, Henderson, AMW, and possibly Jefferson at some stage, with Laurie, Sharp, and Tholstrup when not required for the seniors.- CASEY: Practice Match vs Richmond
I’ve been watching for 25 minutes and we just received our first free. Two in the back decisions by a specific umpire have been atrocious!- VOTES: Player of the Preseason
6 Windsor 5 Gawn 4 van Rooyen 3 K.Pickett 2 Rivers 1 Sparrow- GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Richmond
Good choice of ground AFL… lighting not good enough to complete game!- GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Richmond
The poor decision to leave Heath out is now exposed- GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Richmond
Let’s all swan around in the middle of the ground until the lightning returns!!!!- The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
Been watching Ch 9 news, have we?- The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
Carnegie, Malvern and Bayside are all around 40 minutes from Casey Fields. If you are still working full-time, how long does it take you to get to work? Most people regard themselves lucky if they take less than that to commute. I worked 35 minutes from home for many years and regarded that as a stroke of good luck in a city of over 5.5 million residents. My point is this, the discomfort experienced by our playing list to make their way to Casey Fields is exaggerated here.- The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
My preference for a permanent home for MFC is Caulfield. Having said that, I feel that the development of Casey Fields is being undervalued. Travel time is used as a reason for ditching our arrangement with Casey, as if our entire playing list live near the MCG! Here is a list of some other options when it comes to travel times... Mt Eliza to Casey Fields: 30 minutes Western Port Bay (Tooradin): 15 minutes Mt Martha to Casey Fields: 40 minutes ... Even Portsea is within 65 minutes!- Jeffo Ready to Soar in 2026
On Bailey, he has always been able to execute a few nice passes. That seems to be his major strength. If he is to stay on the list he needs to develop a few more strings to the bow... the way Nibbler did. He needs high level endurance, and I think he is near that mark. He needs to be a tackle machine... showing some signs, and he needs to kick goals... average 1.5 a game. I hope he can show those skills at senior level. Its now or never!- POSTGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne

This gives a close-up view from a player's perspective of the ground we play on at Casey, with an indication of the development of the facility in the background. An Immersive Look at Training with Kade Chandler- POSTGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
"With the regards to the arcs, obviously they are 50m but it just didn't seem that way last Friday" I'll take that as a retraction!- POSTGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
Have you been to Casey?- POSTGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
Nah! Harvey broke out last year!- VOTES: Demonland Player of the Preseason

Link works!- Documentary Episode on Simon Goodwin's Sacking
You've been dining out on this theme for far too long, Cranky. I suppose you have to justify your moniker in some way. The fact that another high-profile AFL team snapped him up in no time should be enough to inform you that Goody's learnings are valued far beyond the doors of the MFC.- The Ruck Conundrum
White was developing nicely in pre-season before his illness. He is mobile and has forward craft. He was also showing signs of putting on muscle... not like Arnie, but the gym work was starting to show. I'm convinced that, at this rate of improvement, he will prove to be a handy addition in the years to come.- PREGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
I've had a look at players we've lost since our 2021 premiership and attempted to pair them with players we've gained. I'm not suggesting the pairs are like-for-like replacements, just allocating the quality available. I'm attempting to get a feel for what we might expect as a Win/Loss estimate in 2026. I've not considered Bowey, Viney or May as I regard that trio as unavailable. Their eventual inclusion will be a bonus! Bowey - Jiath Brayshaw - Lindsay Brown - Mihocek Harmes - Windsor Hibberd - Taylor Jackson - Heath Jordon - Tholstrup May - Turner Neal-Bullen - Chandler Oliver - Langford Petracca - Culley Spargo - L. Pickett Viney - Steele- The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
Common sense, I suppose! We are not all gates swinging in the breeze, fence! I'm clearly talking about maintaining our use of Gosch's as a better option than Waverley whilst a "Caulfield" is delivered. What point are you trying to make?- Farewell James Harmes
Played the game with the right spirit and attitude. Gave his all. Gutsy and determined, but fair as they come. Good luck with the next stage, Harmesy!- The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
rjay, this is similar to the point I was making... except I prefer Gosch's in the interim. - Farewell Steven May
