  1. Yes, that makes the head-to-head score, Goodwin v Lyon 4 - 2 in Goodwin's favour... Your point?
  2. I’m all for selling our home games to Gosch’s Paddock. I’ve personally witnessed our players kicking several goals out of their butt there… crowd size is not a problem, transport is affordable, parking is within reason.
  3. Players I haven’t noticed much today Langdon Lever Rivers Johnson Sharp
  4. Lost in first Qtr… Then doubled down on goal kicking. Was there ever a team so afraid of playing finals??????
  5. 6: Pickett 5: Petracca 4: Gawn 3: Oliver 2: Salem 1: Rivers
  6. Welcome aboard Mr Christian!
  7. Further evidence of corruption in my opinion. Read the MFC injury report on Xavier Lindsay post Brisbane game and weigh that up with the MRO’s ‘nothing to see here’. Watch the replay of the incident and you will note that the ball was a metre above where the swinging arm made contact with Lindsay’s head/neck!
  8. Good luck with your campaign if we make the 8!
  9. 6 Melksham 5 Gawn 4 Pickett 3 Oliver 2 Rivers 1 Bowey
  10. I can't watch anymore! Disposal is rock bottom. Team full of AFL list and very little to be positive about. Have they no shame? I could rattle off names of poor prformers but will leave it as... Campbell dominant in ruck contests Howes prolific at half back Ummm...
  11. I totally understand your moniker now!
  12. What does it say about the AFL? "Corrupt"
  13. Brown has lots of upside. His main inconsistency is with disposal, and I haven't noticed a marked improvement this year at Casey. He must know we have enough blokes who can't regularly hit up team mates on the lead. He must know that if he gets his ability to hit targets up to 'very good' he will be selected. Ball is in his court!
  14. 6: Langford 5: Gawn 4: Pickett 3: Petracca 2: Bowey 1: Lindsay
  15. Those that seriously underestimate Oliver's contribution are led by pundits trying to force his worth down! Oliver is currently #1 for av. disposals on MFC's list (equal with Brayshaw, Liberatore, Serong and J. Daicos). Oliver is #2 for tackles and continues to be #1 for handballs. Some on here talk about him as if he were an under-performing rookie!
  16. The criticism of Fullarton's lack of impact as a forward is justified, but those claiming he was awful in the ruck just don't watch closely enough to get beyond their initial bias. To say he was beaten by McIntosh is inaccurate, at least!
  17. I think you'll find that a number of those games were on limited time, for one reason and another. The averages, therefore, are not the whole picture.
  18. Pickett Gawn Bowey Viney T-Mac Petty
  19. You are so right about Bevo’s standing among Doggie fans! A very accurate analysis touching on the similarities between their criticisms and DLander criticism of Goody!
  20. You have made so much sense and then messed it up with a little cr@pee
  21. Similar scenes in every club room, at every level and every age group around the country after a loss! So what!
  22. Who will lead us out of the darkness? I think it will be the younger group! They will then inspire the older group and lift them up to their former heights. McVee will return and add speed, athleticism and good disposal to the backline. Windsor will benefit from the run and run and run! Jefferson will return to the spot he won in round one. He will surprise everyone by kicking two or three a game! Tholstrup will be that cheeky, annoying half forward with confidence in his own abilities. Lindsay will resume being our 'find' of the year! Fullarton will prove a handy cameo player. Culley will improve our mid-field with strength on the inside, pressure acts and good disposal! Sestan will get a run and surprise everyone with his laser kicking skills! Langford will continue on his merry way! The biggest surprise of all... Verrall will step up to the plate with impressive disposal and ball handling skills to go with effective ruck work! It is written!
  23. Selected next week on ‘effort’ May Salem Petracca Gawn Oliver Bowey McDonald Fritsch Pickett This is not to say they were successful, just that their attempt to compete and drive the team forward was consistent and recognizable
  24. I now agree with those who suggested that the 2x straight sets exodus from the finals has had a psychological effect. This team are playing scared. Scared that if they make the finals they will lose again. Scared and scarred! I want to see the fumbling, bumbling blokes dropped. If a player misses a shot on goal that came at a crucial time, immediate ‘bench’.
