  1. Wtf was the fifty for? So sick of [censored] umpiring.
  2. It doesn’t make sense......the afl got rid of the behavioural officers yet the keep the same woeful umpires.
  3. If anything, we need to know what we want for Kyle going to the dogs. Will be hard to negotiate a good draft pick from a mid season draft (assuming not good enough to go in the preceding national draft)
  4. There’s an oxymoron ☝️
  5. Get the feeling the umpires wanted that result. But we still should have beaten them nonetheless.
  6. I am a numbers person, I understand stats can be distorted but I would love the afl to present the following: Average time tackled before decision HTB vs ball up against ‘stars’ team stats for who receives decisions from non acting umpire distance umpire stands from contents in each teams f50 Ave volume in db of calls for each team Ave distance of 50m penalties for teams Ave time opposition allowed before ‘move it on’ / ‘play on’ called ave time and distance before play on called when player enters field from ootf Number of marks paid where kicks were less than 15m Clearances of bounces that land out side of centre circle I highly doubt there is a directive to cheat against us. But I would love to see the above stats, as only then we can really know if we are being disadvantaged. And aside from above I don’t get why the boundary umpires don’t make on field decisions so the umpires can have a 360 degree view? I know they are beginners now, but maybe for AFL games they should be experienced umpires
  7. Good call. Would love to see something like this to make the umpires and the game honest. However cant see it happening without it slowing the game up and we all know the afl’s thoughts on slow play...... The last week has proven that they can’t/won’t own their failings, so we need the media to step up and take them on. The questioning of bias toward teams, star player, etc. needs to be done in the public forum, not behind closed doors or secret coffee meetings or letters to HQ as we the fans deserve answers and respect ✊? ✊? ✊?.
  8. A fifty to Gus on the wing and we are lining up. [censored] these umpires
  9. How’s that not fifty. These umpires choose which rules are in play.
  10. Didn’t get hands on it, had to be unrealistic attempt. Guess rose coloured might be in play
  11. The stadium under those names wasn’t owned outright by the AFL. Now the AFL is the owner, they are the ones that have sold out to Disney. Who knows what else is in the fine print of the deal...........
  12. It’s a 360 degree game. Cross the white line then you have to be aware of what’s around you, if your within 5m of the ball. Just an unfortunate accident.
  13. Agree on your stats presented and have actually stated it in prior posts with very few +100pt games. Although on the other side of the coin. We wouldn’t have been able to score twice in 49 seconds if for not the 6-6-6 rule. Is it the rule or the coaches not allowing free flowing football?
  14. The afl needs to change and reprimand based on whether the action is part of the game or not. There are too many elbows and punches being thrown at the moment. These aren’t part of the game. There should be two tables - one for dangerous tackles/bumps (part of the game) and another for punches/kicks/eye gouging etc (not part of the game). The not part of the game needs a double penalty loading.
  15. I would like to see a fully fit team play: tmac Anb viney ....... if they are injured let them rest.
