We are absolutely on here lads. GWS aren't rattled and the Pies know it. The crowd will still keep the Pies in it by screaming for every 10/90 though.

Took him a year or three too long to realise he wasn't being valued and he was on the completely wrong timeline to his club.

(Someone was going to, John; sorry...)
I confess. I am guilty of believing in our players and having a rose tint on my spectacles!

So we get rid of the only bloke that consistently hits targets inside 50 - our biggest weakness
Strange if true
Maybe it's him looking for more opportunities after a 10 game season? If he doesn't want to fight for his spot, or wants a bigger pay packet, then good luck to him. It would be a shame to go, but adding to our draft haul with another pick, and beating the Dogs to that GCS pick would be a higher priority than keeping him, if given the two options

Sounds like one of those late night sex-lines

Not every recruit is as gung ho as JVR. He is the gold standard and should force all our recruits to be top trainers and pre season prep stars.
Jeffo is a completely different style of player to JVR snd as-such his development is/will be different. But he will be guided by the Club and let's just be patient for results. All the doomsayers are opening their mouths about MJ but he has ability and we should see it evolve at some stage perhaps later in 2024.
How is his tank, speed, defensive pressure and how is his kicking? Is there a chance he can debut on the half forward line use athleticism to be hit up on a wing/running back into f50 space at some point next year after the bye? Think of a young and skinny Hipwood, although 8cm shorter. Hipwood played 10 games in his 2nd year and then 20 in his 3rd, kicking 11 and 30 respectively.

We all know why he's saying this. And it's not because of anything the MFC has done. This is about Steven May.
Getting sacked from your job because you assaulted a coworker is the textbook definition of fragility, so it's just massive projection on his part.

Ok, But let's keep the Sooking going at least until he end of the season and not show up to our table at the Brownlow. [censored] the AFL for their decision on Maynard.

Interesting.
I back our FD in to make some moves, and there could be a couple on the trade block.
I don't want to lose Spargo for a late 2nd or 3rd, his semi final showed what we'd been missing - but if this is in someway connected with trading Our Firsts and Spargo for that pick #2 and then coming at WCE with an ultimatum on Reid/Curtin, then its a smart move - If North were willing.

Saw this rumour on Reddit about Spargo. Not sure if it's just drawing conclusions based on family links or they're actual "small rumblings"
"Ins are likely to be Stephens and Fisher though there seems to be some small rumblings about Charlie Spargo which is a watch this space as he has family links with North and Clarko. A mature defender or two as well but maybe the state leagues for these."

Scare them the moment they walk through the door and then tell them that they need to be able to perform under pressure just like that in a final.
We heading down the Adelaide camp direction with blindfolds and opposition team songs?
Maybe jump.out from behind the door dressed as a toothless Collingwood supporter?

I’m all for GWS knocking the pies out in a prelim.
Yes me too. But the person mentioned that we are Port in 2001-03 and called us chokers. Well if we are, then Bris beating Pies again like in 02/03 ain't so bad a result either. Hence the response

Straight sets for 2 x top 4 teams who finished with a combined 6.5 more wins than the blues & gws, premature contract extensions for both Hinkley 10 yrs no flags Goodwin 1 x flag which you can understand but not sure what the rush was
I'd be ropable if our club went out the way Port have in their last two big do-or-die finals though. Games over at quarter time/half time. Never even get started until its too late.

Non-MFC: Finals Week 03

Love GWS composure in defence. All year. Saved two goals chaining it out, after halfing contest aerially. It's that Sean Wight diving desperation kind of footy that makes us fans applaud the great defence
