There’s a clear precedent. Tom Boyd: pick 4 and Ryan Griffen.
They’d have to be certain Cadman was all but gone next year, which would be a shock because they traded up for him in the belief he’d stay.
Pick 5 and Oliver? (They probably couldn’t afford him in the salary cap). Pick 5, 2 more first and a second?
Oliver? 3 firsts? What the heck ? - If True, A trade might be more of a mutual interest in that GWS might rate a few midfielders in the top 5 more than Cadman, are happy with Hogans form and would do it for pick 5 and 2nd or Future 1st at worst. So it's really Sanders vs Cadman. Is my guess anyway.

Missed the Swans game, How did Tracc go? I'm not going to trust the umpires to get it right on Gulden or Tracc, if it means dislodging Daicos from a draw.
-
All the noise about Daicos makes a lot more sense if he wins it from here, absolute grift

Love it when he rushes fast through a game concerning one of Traccs competitors

The Bont wins it from here
Those performances to drag them over the line against *Checks notes* WCE and Hawthorn, really were inspiring

If Tracc doesn't win, I hope some potato like Darcy Parrish comes in and does a Priddis

Is every channel seven "personality" doing an opening speech? Revolting. I think I'll turn off the radio and follow the tracker instead.

This one's a relaxing watch though. Both hate cancels itself out

Lions look small in the midfield. 3rd prelim in a row where they haven't addressed that issue

Luke Darcy the only commentator that sounds like he's out on the field running around while calling. It's awful

Trade Rumours 2023
in Melbourne Demons
Posted · Edited by John Demonic
I vaguely recall this podcast earlier in the year as well, Christian Jolly. Ive listened to this pod for a few years now and rank it up there with Hoynes segment too. Although Jake one of the other hosts has an irritating manner about him. Anyhow:
Although its still too early to tell, it's why I perhaps think this wouldn't just be a Melbourne pursuit, but might be GWS saying they'd prefer a goal-kicking/midfielder in this years top 5 over a key forward who might take a lot longer than they think and desire. GWS's rich vein of form might also be contributing to a fast-tracking of their expectations on immediate success in the next 2-3 years. Toby Green is 30, Coniglio 30, Kelly 29 next year. Maybe Kingsley doesn't like him. Maybe the go-home factor is far bigger than they've let on. Who knows. All I know is if we can simply swap pick 5 for Cadman, then both clubs could still be big win/winners. I'm not so sure about us throwing every pick at him, given the early concerns. There might be no sunk cost with GWS too in regards to not wanting to get back what they put in last year to get him. They're a pragmatic club.
Edit: IF RUMOUR IS TRUE
