Looks like a copy of last years finals game. Blues and the AFL need the win !! MFC need to beat Carlton, AFL, media and the 3 Specsaver people in yellow !!!
This year Caleb Windsor will be a pace ahead of Acres and rebound it back up the other end of the ground

The way they argue just shows how much they care. I don’t like May having a go at the younger players, but he and Lever lead that backline and their passion and perfectionism is what makes them the best defensive duo in the league. They always want to get better and bring everyone else with them.
Our backline has saved our [censored] so many times in the last few years. They are absolutely the hallmark of our team.
Well my last comment got hidden so ill rephrase: Given the added context now for Entrecôte, clearly May has professional standards that some players who aren't in the team right now weren't living up to.

It would be wonderful to be the first to beat Geelong this season.
On Grand Final day.

Geelong are the real deal. Unbelievable.
Yeah. Although if the trade off was Carlton not becoming the dominant power everyone was forecasting, I'll live with that!

Turner offers us flexibility forward and back, as does Petty and even TMAC. Also there could be a weather dependence on who gets a run - Laurie .woey if wet, Disco if dry.
We've got so many of them now, they might need to form their own club like the Wingers.
Maybe call it The Swingers Club?
Oh dear

A Saturday with Collingwood, Carlton & Geelong winning. If I wasn't on a demon-only watch schedule now, I would be after that. Yuck!

offer came way too late
we would've wanted to turn that into something else, and wouldn't have had the time to work a deal

There was pick trading up until and on draft night wasn't there? I remember at the time thinking the Petty trade could work if we packaged all our picks to WCE for Pick 1, otherwise we still go into the draft with a big hand.
I was excited about his great form up forward too, I won't lie - but prior to that he was playing poorly in defence and I remember advocating for Tomlinson over him after 5 rounds.

According to the neutrals on afl reddit, Kozi tried to murder him and should've got 4-6 weeks. So i don't think both players can play on the same team without bloodshed /sarcasm

There are no bad dogs, only bad owners
And there are plenty of trash humans who are just that, trash. Just look at the news from today as further proof.
Understand that. Not really wanting to get in depth about dogs. The analogy is simply about Maynard being an aggressive dog, backed by a rabid trashy fanbase. I think it's apt. "Vermin" doesn't really cut it

I feel like calling him a dog is incredibly offensive to dogs, who are after all, the most wonderful creatures on earth.
Pit bulls aren't. Ugly inbred looking things. Trained to be aggressive by clueless owners that defend them online. Sounds familiar.

I knew the game was over as soon as we let Hipwood and Daniher kick the 1st 2 goals.
My only surprise was that Charlie Cameron didn't kick the 3rd.
No surprise Nibbler got our 1st.
Does that quite often.People were talking bout him being the worst rated player in the comp, and some Lions fans calling for him to be dropped. That first goal really set alarm bells off given the context. What is it about Hipwood? He just has that rare athletic ability that allows for an extra yard of speed and aerial space that can give him the opportunity to get into the game against our defenders. Not quite the Kent Kingsley, but that 4 goal final is going to haunt us until we beat them in a final, or go further.

The scoreboard masking/5 goal fightback is equivalent to the NBA where the both teams take their starters out and play their bench depth. And everyone watching on tv turns it off. Zero to read into it.

It was evident at the ground that Brisbane spread much faster from the stoppages and their ball movement was efficient and crisp on the follow up. This reminded me of our loss to Essendon last year where we simply couldn't cover the ground quick enough.
Another observation was that some of our players were struggling to even run off to the bench. On the night they were too good for us.
I think the question about whether the Lions fast spread and surgical precision by foot is our kryptonite or whether it was our fatigue, is going to be unanswered until the finals. To me though, their game last night would take a herculean effort from our team firing on all cylinders just to be competitive and take it to the death where a bit of luck and a few plays from your stars can make the difference. At least they've given us a good lesson.
The good thing to come out of this for a neutral, would be that this season might genuinely have 6+ flag contenders.

idk, we played really badly today, but I think it's nice that a terrible loss for us now is only 22 points. I don't think we're in as bad of a place that people think.
it was 32-80 halfway through the last! Lions are getting ready for next weeks match at that point.

Just say “thanks for your reviews and feedback”!
Imagine if for instance the Fox footy podcast or the deebrief spent half their shows detailing every positive review they received rather than talking about actual footy, how bored you’d get of them.
For me, I listen to a podcast cos I’m interested in the subject matter and I’d assume that would be the same for most people? Not sure I’m saying anything earth shattering. And if you disagree that’s fine too, I’m not trying to have a blue with anyone!
I don't think the fox footy podcast would get any positive reviews David Zita groaning at Max Laughton's attempts at humour 10 times a pod. They really should put on two people that don't hate each other. I'd maybe give it another go! Strange one to bring up.
As for the Debrief Podcast: Go Dees! It takes all different types of podcasts for all types of fans in the demonverse and I listen to em all! BUT they are better served spending what I assume is an expensive hourly rate in their rented studio with a producer, discussing the footy rather than the footy AND reviews and guest questions like the DL Pod. Let's let them all be unique in their own ways.
