WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Hopefully not a tagger. Bring him in and tell him to play on instinct. Looking at his under 18s game he does show alot of serious potential as an attacking mid. I personally think Essendon have tried to turn him into a player he is not. I hope he starts racking up big numbers in the midfield because for us to move forward its guys like Melksham that needs to go up a gear.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Its laughable the two comparisons with Vince and Melksham. Vince actually had done something noteworthy in his career before coming to us, winning a best and fairest and being in the All Australian nomination. Not only that, he proved he was a noted ball winner aswell. In his 114 afl career Melksham has averaged 16 disposals and not once in his career has he ever hit the 30 disposal mark. For a midfielder thats played that many games and 24 years old thats a poor effort. He would wanna put in a big pre season this summer pull his finger out because we are currently the laughing stock of the AFL for picking him up on a 4 year deal work 400k a year.. Goody and Mcartney need to nail this one.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Lol boy aren't you going to be super disappointed! As Josh Mahoney said we aren't exactly a destination club atm. What those players bring is super competitiveness and upgrade of depth. We will improve with these guys next year i have no doubt. Don't forget we will still have pick 6 and going by Jason Taylor's record he will land an absolute beauty. Have faith in our recruiting team.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Michie and Newton were brought in to add depth and play their role when given the opportunity which they have both done so far. Michie was averaging 20 disposals in his last 5 games and Josh Mahoney has been on record to say that he is far too good for VFL. While Newton has showed glimpse what he is capable of in his last game. 11 goals in 11 games is a decent effort first up and i could see him building from here. Could play that half forward role bit like Cripps from West Coast.Whats funny is you didn't bother to mention Roosy bringing in Vince Garlett Cross and Tyson who have all been successful.

I wouldn't even put Watts in the same category as Johnstone in terms of elite disposers of the ball. Watts can actually be hit and miss at times where Trapper was simply sublime. He could run down the wing 4 or 5 bounces and drill a low pin point 50m kick on the chest of David Neitz. Johnstone along with Jurrah is the most naturally gifted footballer i have ever seen during my time supporting this club.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
LOL you are incredibly out of touch. They brought in those guys for instant success. They will be gone either next year or the year after. You named 2 kids who are probably the next batch of up and coming youngsters.. The rest aļl had serious injuries that could distrupt their development. Who is their next ruckman after Goldstien? Or their next key forward after Petrie? Do they have an emerging backman after Thompson? They are finished in 2 or 3 years time.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Absolutely There is not an up and coming young gun at North in the same Vein as Hogan Brayshaw Salem etc.. Infact all of their 2014 draftees were all hit with season ending injuries half way through the year.. not good indeed

Don't mind Tommy Bugg. Can play as a tagger but also win the ball himself.
