I'm still trying to work out what was Howes excuse for leaving?? Scully left for money, Rivers and Frawley for more finals action and Scott Thompson because of home sickness. But what was Howe's reasons? I know he wanted to play more forward but surely he is not that stupid to leave only to then find himself camped down back again..?

Now thats interesting you said that because this year i have made more of an effort to watch more GC games purely on the base of watching Prestia (and also a cousin playing up there) Have to say i have been underwhelmed also. His disposal by foot is very ordinary. Paul Roos said couple of weeks ago we would still be chasing an A grade midfielder at years end. While these guys aren't A graders id have these guys ahead of Prestia purely on maybe more upside. Jack Steele and Brad Crouch.

My honest opinion is that i think we have cooled on him. Numerous times the club has been into his ear yet continue to get turned down by him to the point where the club has probably said stuff him now. I wouldn't be all that surprise if we are putting in more work into Andrew Gaff (whos yet to sign a new deal) and maybe someone like a Josh Kelly. Either would almost put the finishing touches and class into our already growing midfield talent.

If we are bring in fresh players then Grimes is the ideal replacement. Experience and hardness would be ideal for Sydney.

Big improvement and seems to get better each game which is a positive. His kicking is actually quite elite for a tall backman.

Playing on a wing doesn't suit him. But 9 tackles is great effort.
