Anyone finding Collingwoods recent form of late is eerily similar to ours of last year? Just on Collingwood, Pendlebury and Sidebottom are cooked. Absolute fantastic players but they were incredibly fumbly last night and have been all year. Pendlebury is slower in the mind now and he's coughing up the ball badly then I've seen him before. He's not as clean poised is what he's been in thr past. Both their lack of leg speed on top of Mitchell and Adams is starting to show our.

Yes I think it's a great test. The inclusion of Oliver and Fritsch on top of the current best 22 that's in really good form could really set us up well for finals. The big watch for me is the form of Petty and JVR as forwards. It's a big ask for JVR but if these two lads can really hold down the forward key posts then we're going into finals well prepared with our offensive structure.

So had we kicked straight then it would have been and easy 30 plus point win? We smashed them around the contest and stopped their corridor run. We were able to put enormous amount of defensive pressure which saw them crumble under heat. I think we'd be crazy to at least not attempt to trade up for Harley. Imagine a starting midfield unit of Gawn, Oliver, Viney, Petracca and Reid 💦 Not only are you picking up another tough country lad (Tongala special) who doesn't take a backward step, but you're planning life after Petracca and Viney. Oliver is still only 25 so still has years left to form a good combination going forward. What this also mean is that this adds more years to Petracca longevity in the game. This will give Petracca the opportunity to spend his last few years as a dangerous forward and not the crash and bash midfielder. Do it Jason Taylor and Tim Lamb!
