Said it at the time, it was a complete BS call. Its becoming a non contact sport. There was nothing in it. That being said, you bite your lip and shut your mouth. Voice your opinion at the break or after the game, not live when it can cost us directly.

Geelong had spare men and space, simple as that. Loads of easy uncontested marks. We had all our eggs in the contest, so we had no choice but to bomb it long to congestion just about all day. My biggest frustration.

1. Fritsch was great. He ran hard all game and didnt stop. Great disposal apart from that one kick that was smothered. 2. Tracca and Oliver are our future. Both were outstanding. 3. Gawnys tap work was first class. Gave mids first use of the ball just about all day.

Yes Wags got better, but that first half... my god. Gave up the ball twice which resulted in 2 direct goals and looked flat footed. Maynard got toweled up. Poor skills as well. Agree about over running the ball. It compounds too, as we normally have more than one culprit in the pack at once that does it.

I dont know the number. If its not the 2nd quarter, its us being asleep for the first 15 mins. Its an all too common problem.

Issue hasnt been resolved since goowin took over. He is so focused on contested ball, he cant see the gaping holes it leaves ahead of the ball.
