Aside from a couple of 50/50s that have gone their way I didn’t the umpiring was too bad. But then again I did watch the dogs game last night so perhaps I have been desensitized.

So after a great weekend last weekend on the Gold Coast, I get to spend this weekend at home with COVID! Both my wife and I have it and am sure the kids will pick it up soon too! Ah well had to get it out of the way at some stage, going to get the fire going at home, order some Dan muphy dinner and sit back, relax and enjoy the show! Just hope the umps leave their whistles at home. Still reckon the best umpiring occurs when free kicks for both sides are in the mid teens. Go well good fellows!

Haha yeah had a great night. Wedding was at Kirra Hill Community Centre, overlooking Coolangatta and Kirra beaches, perfect weather other than a very light shower, drank about a 100 beers, the lucky couple got married according to plan, and all in attendance seemed to have an enjoyable evening. The thing that is REALLY frustrating is that the umps manage to see EVERY possible thing the dogs way, and manage to miss about half the possible ones our way.

Big thing I noticed tonight was the amount of scrub kicks and times caught holding the ball we did, speaks of heavy legs from last weeks run fest. Hopefully look a heck of a lot better next game after some solid recovery work. PS for anyone that was there, my daughter was the girl on the field at three quarter time in the 3 shots on goal thing they did for BCNA with the 3 kids.
