Very true. Our 3yo has COVID after it spread through our family. He’s been hardest hit assumably because he hasn’t been vaccinated as yet. Nothing on earth could stop me cuddling him while he vomits everywhere, has a temp of a million degrees and is in distress. Pretty hard to not get whatever they have in that situation.

Feeling for you WCW our family of 5 picked up the virus on a flight back from the GC the other week. Not been a fun week! To top it all off the government has been contacting me all week via the 5G chip they snuck into my arm when they vaccinated me! jokes

Aside from a couple of 50/50s that have gone their way I didn’t the umpiring was too bad. But then again I did watch the dogs game last night so perhaps I have been desensitized.

So after a great weekend last weekend on the Gold Coast, I get to spend this weekend at home with COVID! Both my wife and I have it and am sure the kids will pick it up soon too! Ah well had to get it out of the way at some stage, going to get the fire going at home, order some Dan muphy dinner and sit back, relax and enjoy the show! Just hope the umps leave their whistles at home. Still reckon the best umpiring occurs when free kicks for both sides are in the mid teens. Go well good fellows!

Haha yeah had a great night. Wedding was at Kirra Hill Community Centre, overlooking Coolangatta and Kirra beaches, perfect weather other than a very light shower, drank about a 100 beers, the lucky couple got married according to plan, and all in attendance seemed to have an enjoyable evening. Enjoying some crap TV on foxtel in the accommodation while I wait for the grog to wear off! Stay well party people 🍻🥂🍷🥃🍸🍺🍹

Well here I am, not but 24km from the ground but unable to attend. Normally from sunny Melbourne, I’m here in rainy Kirra for a wedding which kicks off at 3pm. Will be sneaking a look at the score as often as festivities (and my wife) allow.
