Warm weather this weekend will definitely be a factor, I would have gone but down at rye with my wife and 3 kids and have spent most of the day enjoying the beaches of the peninsular

Outrageous by Riewoldt, doesn’t he know some of us are also down at Rye and couldn’t get to the game! Seriously though, I think the ticketing is causing more issues than people realize, found out last night my father in law canceled 5 reserved seat bulldogs memberships this year because the seats he’s been guaranteed since forever he can’t have anymore due to the new system. He used to pay his memberships and could decide on the morning if he wanted to go to the game and use his seats, or just not go. With the new system on his current level of membership he would have to had book each week online if he wanted to go . So he said, stuff it I’ll just get kayo for the season and save well over a $1000 on memberships. He’s got troubling knees so really only knows one the day if he’s up to the walking or not.

Well me and my 8yo daughter are wearing our premiers T-shirt’s so that may have something to do with it 😂🤣

I wish, he’s still banging on about every free that we get not actually being a free

Totally agree. Family friend is ex AFL umpire and still umpires AFLW. Excellent umpire and should be doing both mens and womens. He’s not allowed to umpire the mens because he hurt his shoulder and can’t bounce. Can throw it up just fine. Interestingly one of the umpires out there tonight doesn’t have to bounce it and can throw it up at ruck contest. Hmmmmmmmmm 🤔

Some selfish play there tonight by a few of our boys cost a couple of better shots on goals. Watching the game with my father in law who follows the dogs, bloody infuriating as he continually claims more frees should be paid against us and claims none of ours should be paid 😒

Yeah I’m married to a dogs supporter as are her whole family (she’s one of 6), they firmly believe they deserved every single one of those frees over the past month and that the differential is just because they are first to the ball 😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣

I also think there is an element of coaching going on whereby they are coached to exploit the rules through appropriate staging etc. If they just spent a little more time on gaol kicking however.......

Just a clarification, Sam went to Whitefriars College with Tracc which isn’t in the APS system, they are in ACC system which is a lower standard than APS. Your second paragraph is pretty accurate though and he played for Vermont Eagles up to around age 16 I think in the Eastern Football League before a handful of games at various levels up to VFL. Not the background that many others have had the luxury of.

The Brown v Weid debate for me comes down to what each player does when they have a scoreless game. Brown creates far more opportunities for those around him to score than Weid. On that basis he’s first pick when fit. Simple.

Well from what I’ve seen in this finals series, either Taylah is injured and we don’t know about it, or she needs to focus on her boxing and leave afl to those with greater desperation to win

They’re just better than us. Only thing we can do will be to take some risks and hope for the best. Won’t get even close to winning this playing the current way

I think the thing that can get missed is the on field relationship between Koz and Brown. If BBB isn’t taking the mark, he’s knocking it to where Koz is lurking. Weid and TMac rarely do it. Brown makes Koz better.
