  1. Catching the 2nd half. 3 games in half a day across 3 continents too much for the DA? Cummon guys, lift yer game! 😄
  2. I want to see that scoring that way, but, being there, it definitely didn't feel that way, that Hawthorn dominated only in the first quarter. However, I think prospective coaches (prospective coach?) would be looking at a suite of positive performances over a longer period (as well as of moments within yesterday?)
  3. Me, too HD, though I stayed through. Extraordinary imbalance of numbers, evident from the outset (see my pre-game posts) But 53,000? Maybethe head count had an inevitable 'Tasmanian' element to it?
  4. Although, near silence greeting the announcement of each player. Fair-weather supporters? LOL
  5. It's a sea of 'P' and 'W' here outside the 'G. Is there another team playing? 🤯
  6. On the menu where we're special-occasion pre-game lunching in Richmond: BANANA ICE CREAM! (...avec 'Cardamom tres leches', so a bit distant from the corner milk bar!)
  7. 'Banene'? Dolly Bananon.
  8. Paid gigs for the panel externals? 'All care and no responsibility', as they say. And, dare I say it, 'money for (fig)jam'?
  9. So many of them - what, 90%? - taken on the chest with front-end-loader-bucket arms, at highest reach. He'd be entitled to trademark it.
  10. "...has also faced extended periods where they haven't made finals or achieved consistently high results..." AI has a great line in understatement. Or - creepy thought - is it capable of irony?
  11. Disappointed with your choice now, Red?
  12. Time for a licks lips emoji in the drop-down!
  13. Home remedy readily available: ripe banana, good quality vanilla bean ice-cream, milk of choice, whizzer of choice. OK, technically a milkshake, but that's all we ancients had when we Ilved in holes in t'roads.
  14. Ready for when he returns: Cue memes.
  15. The avalanche has begun...
  16. The demeanour of the players right at the end of that clip was interesting to me: they seemed rather 'meh'? Chappy said all the right things, and said them well, but I wasn't surprised by those last seconds.
  17. Increasingly harder to find, the 'gets' are increasingly admirable. Somewhat of a journeyman whose one goodish AFL year was with us. 🤫 about the team's year, however... 👏 QD
  18. ...and it wasn't us anyway; it was a team of look-alikes, given away by the incorrect numbers.
  19. May forward? Back to his roots? A couple of 'Neita' years?
  20. Something like this might do it?...
  21. No, he's awake 24/7 in it.
  22. I find the girls' view of themselves and the game, and their openness in expressing these things really refreshing (despite the odd inevitable footy cliché!😄) 'Twould be nice if the boys could head more in this direction. Don't lose it, girls!... https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1860134/triple-debut-young-guns-bolster-demons
  23. Not a bad ship to jump on to, I'd reckon?
  24. But do they get to discount - covertly or overtly - 'what they pay' because of what we 'would have paid'? (will be paying?)
  25. Loving the surreptitious growth in real 'Lander interest in the women. They're not 'the girls', as distinct from 'the boys'; they're the Demons. Their highs, lows, and successes will soon be - if they're not already - fully ours.
