Farewell Christian Petracca
No worries at all, BoBo! Care to join me, though, to settle on position number 98 and commit to a punt? 😉 (p.s. I think I might have your 97 personally covered! And don't even ask on the Clarry front!)

Thanks, BoBo. I think it's my post you're finding dumb. So be it. I wasn't trying to express any special knowledge. With the Lamb re-post I was just reminding us 'punters' of a statement (albeit now old) about a 'third way' somewhat lost in the 'first' and 'second' ways of 'Humphrey' and 'picks'. My unlikely outcome (I meant to call it 'likely unlikely') was just me joining the fun and having a punt. Again, no knowledge, not even an informed position.

Time for one more repeat, maybe?... Leaves room, of course, for an unlikely outcome. In which case, I'm going for a final 'give' by GCFC: keep 24, 2 lower picks to match 24's points.

This deserves a re-post over on the 'When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records' thread, Cranky! Hopefully one K.White does it for us, sooner rather than later!

Ummm...

Page 111 filled in 8 minutes. Record? Still 2 days to break it. Or Demonland.

Nuffin personal, Roost; just riffing on The Fonz's foibles! He could never get that word out! 😊

You won't get @Roost it far to say 'S...<choke>, so...<gag>, sor...<splutter>', though.

That's weird, Beelz; I don't think I posted that? 🤔

Separated at Birth
And while I'm here: somewhat tangential to the Topic... Lily and Aidan? Georgia and Tom? Even Maeve and Troy? We might have further distanced Kate from Marty, but, now, Max and Shelley. Does any other club take 'family' as 'seriously'?

Separated at Birth
That one cut off his ear. Is ours is doing the same to his nose and the Club's face?

Is there a 'What would Mike Sheahan do?' meme? Seriously, I wonder what he does think?

VJ's point I think being, in this case, that it's not from GCFC, who are the ones in control of BH's destiny, not CP. It's possible CP's management have a knowledge of GCFC's position, but why would GCFC necessarily be conveying the correct one?

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Lazy statement of the obvious, Tom. Stick your neck out; 2025 30s pick = X dollars, future 3rd = Y* dollars. *Hopefully 0

Ouch. Same ballpark, pick value; different street, record. So, D? 🥺

Can someone remind me what the Stringer trade price was? I'd be interested to know where our Clarrie sits on that D(*)H scale... (*Let's be kind, please: 'Disturbed')

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Yeah, I guess. Any wriggle space for leverage in final i.e. actual contract/s negotiations? And would there be a conflict of interest case regardless of contract terms? I know there's been lots of salary-shares already out there, with no such action having been taken in any of them.
-
Farewell Clayton Oliver
This will be the PR challenge; to get the privy info across sufficiently, and convincingly align actions with aims. All while acknowledging but de-catastrophising the financial and other costs.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Legal eagles, help me out here. Would any MFC contribution to salary be under Oliver's existing contract, a new one, or (heaven forbid!) none? Presuming a contract operates, particularly his existing one, would Oliver be in conflict of interest (under both his MFC and otherFC contracts) if he played against us? Would this at least be grounds to require he not play; or even, at best, a breach of contract? Fun if we faced off in a GF...

Farewell Clayton Oliver
No doubt this question will get opinions rather than inside knowledge, but here goes anyway: What happens - teammate-wise, football-wise, Oliver-wise - if we make him stay?
-
Farewell Clayton Oliver
If things happens as 'feared', it will be interesting to see how overtly and negatively the PR includes Clayton's interactions with the Club's environment and reactions to the Club's new requirements of him. I hope it can at least settle 'was he pushed or did he spit?'

Hanks for that, Ado! Steven's the tall one, then? And it looks like they're 'G-handy somewhere on Jolimont Hill?

2025 Player Reviews: #14 Jack Billings
I saw him, Sarah and pram in Church St Brighton (of course!) must have been just before, too. Gee players look 'normal' in the real world(*), including, in this case, that 'new dad' look I might just have imagined (there was also that fleeting 'you know who I am' look on his face, with a bit of a smile, luckily, when we made eye contact!) (*As 'real' as Brahton can be...)
