Couple of comments on Paxy here. Mick, in his presser, noted she'd been tried in a role (to fill gaps it seemed, in the forward line?) but the team had then not reciprocated in a way that would let her 'play to her strengths'.

Not many weeks ago, we looked sadly at how far the other trailblazer, the Bulldogs, had fallen. If the final siren went now we fall to second last. With the Bulldogs - and Collingwood - now above us. Mick's presser will not be comfortable viewing.

Late team changes: Honorary bench - well, couch - positions for Bob 'Chimp' Skilton and Kevin 'Bulldog' Murray. Neither up to attending. I hope the game is gentle to them.
