This is indeed the same exercise, except they were 150 metres apart, and none of them fell asleep. Many of them were hallucinating. Seeing people that were not there etc. Oh man - I hope we don't finish third last!!!!

Whole squad except for 3 - 2 injuries and one personal reasons

Well when I signed up there was no woman's AFL!! Max is awesome as an avatar - he's staying. Sometimes it is easier to be "thought of" as a male, but after being referred to as "he" a few times, I felt obliged to come clean.

Camp finished 21st Dec - was definitely Whittlesea - they were inland in bush - before catching the bus there they were at Brighton beach. Just letting you know - I am a she rather than a he

The training camp was in Whittlesea, they began at AAmi stadium, Had a huge workout on beach after that then bus to the camp, they walked for hours, slept very little and had to guard an area on very little sleep. Apparently the Demons were the first group ever where no one was caught asleep whilst they were supposed to be on guard! The Demon I spoke to said this was by far the hardest thing he has done in his life. He came out of it uninjured other than huge blisters from sit ups in the sand, but he was exhausted for days afterward.

He is pretty mature for 25!! He had a great bday in NZ!!

Gawn is in NZ. He has run, been to the gym and kicked a ball everyday including Xmas day, he is careful about what he eats and drinks too. His professionalism impresses me.

Maybe a few rolls of toilet paper will do... Even harder - what to buy his grlfriend!

So many good ideas..... haha. What to buy, what to buy? I still am no closer to a real ideas but have had a good laugh!

Maybe a hand knitted onsie to keep him warm though winter ....

haha and he wouldn't get it back through customs either.

Funnily enough for the ten years I lived in Aussie - The Wallabies held the Bledisloe cup - it was very painful.

Fair enough. We surely need goal kicking practice - especially after starting the year with the best kicking percentage. Reasons, excuses it's all semantics really. Out of interest where are the stats for ages and games played for The Carlton game?

No I am not making excuses. I think you will find what I said is fact - many away games at this end of the season - fact. Not able to win 2 in a row before this season - fact. This season we won 2x in a row and the 3x in a row - improvement. Goals win games - we had the same amount of shots on goal as Carlton. The more we missed the more the players heads went down - they are young, they don't yet have the experience to turn it around when it's going against us.

We couldn't even win two in a row before this season. Then we made it 3 in a row, for such a young team, that had a huge amount of travel at the tail end of the season, I think 4 in a row (no matter who the opponent is) was too tough.

Maybe they are resting Pedo - thinking they will need him more vs Geelong

Thanks for that - those old clips are awesome - some of the same names as now popping up. It looks like the skill level now has gone up a few notches.

His leg is strong, he doesn't actually need the bandage - it is now more habit/for the brain that he wears it.
