We play out hearts out for the next 2 weeks and get more games into our young list. Win or lose, it doesn't matter anymore. What matters is that we play hard and continue to earn respect. Then we wait until next season.....where we will rise again.

Bail was one of the winners for us on the ground!!!!!! I was at the game, and the one thing I took away from it was that we have found a player in Rohan Bail. He was impressive under pressure, and ran his arse off all day. Give him a contract before someone else opens their wallet.
-
You would hope the tigers would give him one more year. he is still a top 5 player at the tigers.
-
Done for the year. Hoping for a strong recovery so he can put in a full preseason.

I can't wait until the Gold Coast suns finalize their list and start playing so we don't have to listed to this bull [censored] anymore. Then again, the GWS rumors begin to fly. Looking forward to another handful of years of "such and such is going to GWS because his 3rd cousins best friends girlfriend lives near the ground". *Sigh*

If our "Profit" can take us to the promise land more than once (we want 2 flags from this rebuild!) then he very well may go down as the greatest demon of all time. Solid Article.
-
How is this for the hard truth. Body aside (couldn't care less to 'weigh in' on the issue- boom boom) his injury set back has kept him from performing at his best, and he is not currently in our best 22.
-
Can they just leave the game alone??? If we keep changing it the game it will end up being chess.
-
Great news for Dunny! Lovely to see a career develop. He deserves the 2 years.

The Dees have forged themselves as one of the harder tackling teams in the comp. Not only that, but they are now one of the quickest teams in the comp. We play our best side, and put ourselves to the test against a Hawthorn side that could have been top 5 this season.

Have not watched much of the Hawks this season. Clearly Guerra is in their best 22, but in all honesty how much is his exclusion going to hurt the hawks? I wouldn't have thought he would be in their top 10, or even top 15 players. It hands us a slight advantage, but I was not worried about a "Guerra Factor" before he was rubbed out. I am sure the Hawks have the depth to cover him.

HUGE Clash! Hawthorn will no doubt be lining us up in their sights after what happened early this season. Much has changed for both sides, but the harsh reality is that Hawthorn are the better team on paper and will go in as strong favorites. A win for us here could really put us on the cusp of a long awaited finals berth.

10 goals is worthy of a call up. Miller rides again. Pressure is on against the Tiggies.

If word caught on the the Tigers were offering Jack Watts a contract to join them, they would be swinging from the rafters stating that the second coming of 'Richo' was soon to arrive in yellow and black. Jack Riewoldt is a gun forward. Jack Watts has shown as much as Riewoldt had in the early stages of his career. They can put the "Dud" label on whoever they want. Doesn't mean Schitte! And while they are busing ripping on kids drafted in 2008, may I ask how young Tyronne Vickery is going?? I think Vickery will be solid, but he has done less than Watts at this point.

Jones is unlucky. I have liked his work this season, and hope he can push his way back into the side next week.

Is now a good time to float the Casey solution ?
Adzman replied to beelzebub's topic in Melbourne Demons
We need more Television exposure. Playing at the MCG gives us that chance as it is set up for the crews to capture quality programming. I love having roots in Casey, but as far as game day goes we need to be on the G. -
Martin is still a RAW prospect, and his true position is yet to be determined. Steph is a ripper at reading the play as a backman. If he can get his body right, he still could be a player at the top level. How about we wait and see until the end of next year before we bring out the axe. It took Jamar forever and a day to get there, Steph deserves the same patience.

I think this method has actually created some serious depth. Players like Bartram/Dunn/Bail/Bennell/PJ would traditionally get dropped to squeeze in a "Big name" upon returning from injury. That is no longer the case. These players are getting a chance to build form and experience at the top level, helping the dees develop depth in most areas on the ground. If you are proppy, you need to show you can play at Casey before getting you red and blue jumper back. Who would have thought that an under done Matty Bate would be struggling to get a jumper at the start of the season? Not I. It looks like you will need more than just promise or reputation to get into this team.

I think Stynes may have pipped many great names as the greatest demon of all. We have had some legends, but what he has been able to do could be the major turning point in the clubs history. If the dees can win a few flags with President Jim, then you can dub him perhaps the greatest demon of all time.

Shouldn't the team be renamed to the Shepparton Yze's?? Well done to Robbo!
-
If anyone wants to shove me in a suitcase and bring me along feel free.......
-
Well done to all! Go the Dees!
-
Got my red clash jersey last week. #8 for the Chippenator. My old man in his late 50's still wears his dees jumper each week. I too will go down this path one day!

They have looked spent lately in the 4th. That said, they are winning. I don't care which quarters they win or lose, as long as they win. Richmond's form has been quite solid. They have won 6 games from their last 9 after a poor start. We have won 3 and had a draw out of the last 9. They could very well roll us in the 4th....I certainly hope this does not happen. They will be tough, but I get the feeling our list has a little hardness over the Tiges.

Rioli is handy for the hawks. He will be missed. Hawks fans seem to have chalked this one up as an easy win. Hopefully not having Rioli will make them re-access the game.
