Will be 25 at the start of next season, so fits the age profile. I think Hawthorn fringe players might cost overs in the cap given many of them won't leave unless they get more cash. Would rather spend on a A grader or extend one of our young guns.

I think Macca will have a big say in who we draft. I'm sure his preference would be to select a smokey and develop them rather than pour development into a 26yo in the hope of them being just a depth player.

At this stage of the year each player will have had their review. Maybe Garland was told he would be wise to take a look at what other clubs can offer, perhaps he has an offer that he is going to take.

Toumpas is clearly trade bait which is why we haven't signed him. The MFC have stayed out of the media and have been very quiet with their plans for trade week. If we can't find a home for him he will be given a one year deal. I just want our list to get better, reality is toumpas staying or going makes little to no difference next year.

Sucking? Honestly probably better to stay in a system he knows. Hawks are not getting younger, he should stay. I don't rate him myself, none of my Hawks mates rate him highly.

White is a bust. The saints list is in rebuild mode, if he couldn't make it work there then he is probably done as an afl footballer. I would pass.Good luck to him with catching on somewhere. Maybe he gets a rookie spot somewhere.

Plowman hasn't reached his potential yet and could still carve out a career. My concern is that we have toumpas who has yet to come on, do we want another on the list in the "will he or won't he make it" basket? I think footballers who were dominant juniors are always worth a look, but I think he won't come cheap and we aren't in a position to pay market value or above on a player that may or may not cut it. Would like to buy low, but think he will move to another club for market value.

32 games from 3 years in the system is alarming. Has the tools to be a player but his body had let him down. 2016 will be career defining for Kent. I look forward to seeing him on the park again, and hope he can play 15 or more games next season.

Billy is one of those young guys you can see coming in and locking down a spot in our 22 next year. He looks the goods, and could take a big leap next year.
-
I would have killed for his skill and talent! Feel bad for the bloke but I can't help thinking if I was blessed with talent how far I could have gone. Just a waste. Hopefully he sorts his life out.
-
Wish all delisted players the very best. Hopefully a few of them can kick on at another club. Fitzy and pig dog are a chance to go on.

Franklin signing has been nothing but a circus. If I was tippet I would be keeping my options open.
-
I can see him taking another leap forward next year as he builds his body and tank. It has been a long time coming since we have seen a first year player of brayshaws quality. Lots to be excited about, and genuine optimism from most football fans that he will be an A grader.

22 year old nearing 50 games. Fits our needs, and has a skill set we need.
-
I have mentioned in other threads that I think he could be our best player in two years time. There is something about him, and if he can stay fit and string 2 seasons together I expect big things from Garry Junior.

I watched the St Kilda game and thought that he was going to break out and be that player we so desperately needed. Then, reality set in, and he played his way out of the side then got injured. I really like the guy, but how long is too long a wait? 2015 was another disappointing year for the Toump.

Dawes is really struggling with fitness and form. We watched the MFC bring in some midfield talent last year which prevented your McKenzie, Bail types getting an automatic game. I feel if we can find some talls in the draft or trade market Dawes could quickly become just depth. His 2016 is make or break for his AFL career continuing.

Probably now more important to us than Jones and Vince given their age. Viney is primed to lead the next crop of players when Jones and Vince hang them up.
-
Has been offered up as part of Hendo deal with Carlton. Given Carlton's list I'm sure Walker would be given plenty of opportunities, more than he would get at the Dees.
-
Was highly rated, but has really struggled with injury and playing time. I wonder if the pies still rate him. If not he might be cheap and worth a spot.

1) Bring in draft lottery.Gets rid of tanking, and still allocates top talent to bottom clubs. 2) Replace compo picks with draft credits which can be used for upgrading picks, bidding for f/s and academy players. Credits can also be stored and traded, but can never be added together to create an additional pick. 3) Evenly distribute Friday and Saturday night games amongst all clubs. This will help the less desirable clubs to gain exposure and get new fans from televised games.

I wonder where our lists average age sits on the average age table for the comp. We aren't the youngest list going, that I am sure of. Maybe top 5 though.

The more that ask, the less likely and priority picks get given. I think Carlton just screwed any chance of Brisbane getting help. Agree with posters that PJ should get in on the action just for giggles.

Will always be remembered fondly. I wish him the best.

With Trealor and McCarthy already on the table I would be surprised if they moved Tomlinson on this year. It would take a good offer, and I don't think the market for him is that hot.
