"Like having two Nick Riewoldts"
Their workrates are off the charts for talls. Amazing endurance athletes, rare to see two in the same team. Makes it a hard day out for tall defenders.

Can Razor Ray have his own TV show ?
He is a peacock is Razor Ray. He is letting the players and other umpires know that everyone is there to look at him and his pretty feathers.

Meanwhile . . . over at the Kennel
Well it depends on your definition of "played". He was on the ground for the game.....didn't really display any football though.

Salary cap breaching club??? WTF are they on?? Last time I checked they were the team that went and paid 1m a season to Tom Boyd whiles retaining their entire list. If anyone's cap should be questioned it should be Hawthorns, can't see how we are close to breaching.

What the Fritsch
The trading of Jack Watts for a lowish return seems like a distant memory given the way Bailey has slotted in. Would Wattsy get a game in the same side as Bailey? On current form sadly not.

Changes v Collingwood
I think Melksham will face a test, he was great but was clearly struggling with that ankle. Smith wasn't the same after that knock, and did seem a bit proppy late in the game (cramps?) Outs: Melksham (inj), Lever (inj), In: Balic, Hunt Collingwood have a few jets, having Hunt in might not hurt. If Melksham can't get up, Balic might fit that role.

My 3 word player analysis V Bulldogs
Lever - will be missed Didn't see myself saying this after rounds 1-4, but here we are pondering the rest of 2018 without Jake the Snake. There is now a big hole back there, and Tmac is worth more forward.

Past Players: Clay Sampson
Good luck to young Hayden. There is still a little romance for second generation footballers playing at their dads club, even if they didn't crack the tonne for father son.

Post Match Discussion - Round 11
He is that good 1/1 that you never worry about him getting beaten by his opponent. He was bog for me today. Huge fan of his game, reminds me of some of the gutsy small backs who were hard to beat from the neitz days like brown dog and wheels. Those two were just so good, I think Nev might even be the better than those two.

Name a Game Will Cease Operations
Let's be honest, the AFL will have its own channel and service soon enough. I imagine that catalogued games will form some of the appeal for the AFL having their own service/channel. Still it's a shame, I would love to buy a digital demons library to show my kids when they are old enough to appreciate it.

Players from other clubs we've recruited since 1990
Don't forget the ORIGINAL VFL killer and J J Liston winner Ezra Poyas! Played a whole zero games for us in 2003!

Nathan Jones' 250th.
We need to get up for him, it could be the last major milestone game he plays (hoping he makes 300 but it's a hard task in modern footy) His 200th was a 50 point mauling at the hands of freo and he did his ankle. It's only right he gets to enjoy this with a win.

What’s really changed since our last loss?
I'm not going to win many friends with my thoughts, but I think Jordan Lewis has been huge over the past few weeks. His calmness, leadership and decision making has helped control ball movement from the back half and really helped settled the back 6. He has also publicly stick up for Lever, and I'm sure he has been instrumental in settling Jake down back.

Gus 12 months on ....
37 touches and 3 goals is elite. People aren't talking about him enough. His game was off the charts. If Dusty had a 37 touch 3 goal game there would be a page dedicated to him on the AFL website. So excited to see him play great footy.

1998 Hotter Than Hell

Congratulations David Neitz - 2018 Hall of Fame Inductee
Couldn't think of a more deserving MFC player. Gave everything he had for no flags. Champion of this great club.

Give us some credit! (Media reaction merged thread)
Why pay attention to the Media? If you want to know how the Dee's are tracking then demonland has you covered.

Changes vs Bulldogs
Goody might do a shorter main training session this week to get ready for dogs. I think Spargo might be an option for a rest but he deserves to play against the dogs.

My 3 word player ananlysis V Adelaide
ADZMAN - I am speechless What a win!

Blues Free Football
Skills free football. They were f'ing awful. They should be ashamed of that effort

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - AUSTIN BRADTKE
I really like this signing. Coming from a professional sporting background is a huge advantage in terms of commitment and preparation. Should be able to take to the AFL system like a duck to water. If he has the goods he could be big max's replacement.

Lever Ready To Take on the Crows
This games narrative is all about 3rd v 4th. I'm glad Lever v the crows is getting some airtime but the real story is us needing to beat the crows so we can be taken seriously. Hope Lever has a blinder.

Confidence is the key: James Harmes
At the start of the season he was best 22 by a small margin. His work and form has seen him cement his spot. He isn't first in line to be dropped if we have a loss due to his tireless work and effort. Players like Harmes win you premierships.

Jake Melksham
All good mate, I was a bit perplexed first up. The last thing I want is to annoy my fellow supporters.
