  1. Lets not get TOO excited. I am a MASSIVE indigenous football fan, but i can still remember the David and Dale Cockatoo-Collins days. We had some "aboriginal talent" back then also, and we ALL remember how that turned out.
  2. Fevolas wife was a stunner! Bingle is super hot, but its not like fev was on a bad wicket to begin with. A case of getting a bit too greedy i think. If fevolas ex wanted to "saddle up" with me, i wouldnt have to think twice. Sad news for their kid who didnt even make its 1st bday with its parents intact.
  3. Looks good on paper, but at 178cms and 66kgs one would assume he is too light to make an impact in the demons lineup straight away. I am pretty sure we will see him play in the NAB cup, as we have a habit of playing rookies in the NAB cup while we rest our injured big names. I like the idea of adding some pace, and with Hayes test results you cannot help but smirk and think this might be a davey repeat. CAC drafted him knowing that he will be something out of the ordinary. Given his test results I was suprised he was taken in the national draft. (He must sit a SHOCKER of an interview) Will be exciting to see some more indigenous talent down at the MFC.
  4. PJ is not really the fastest unit going around. HE would need to find some more pace to fill FB or CHB. He has the right skill set for a forward, which is where i would rather see him play. Maybe a smokey for CHF. I think low end ruckman or foward role player for PJ in 2007.
  5. Isn't Weetra only 17?? I think CAC was using the old "Matty Bate" tactic, by drafting him a year early. Bate went at late first round, but would have gone top 3 the year after. Maybe Weetra is a top 20 for next years draft? CAC makes the odd Blunder, at pick 62 you can't blame the man for trying to unearth a future star. Waters a pretty Murky in the later rounds of a draft, and i think CAC had Weetra on the Radar well before the draft had even started. I bet he will be a very handy AFL player in 3 years time.
  6. I will look DYNAMITE in that strip, come ot think of it, who wouldn't look mint in such a sick outfit? Even Mark Holden could pick up a chick wearing that jumper!
  7. I think Jamar should actually be groomed to take over in the ruck. He needs more minutes on the ground, playing 25 mins a game doesnt help develop a player. Let whitey ruc and run around to float forward and back. 2007 has to be the year where jamar asserts himself as a key ruckman for the MFC. Whites reign is coming to an end, we need a guy to step up and step into the number one job sooner rather than later.
  8. We have a capable midfield. Beamer Moloney played about 3 games, a fit an firing beamer would have made a difference this year, so let us not get carried away finding an "established" midefilder when we have plenty that can do the job well. I would chase Daniel Wells heavily. Adds some more pace and skill to a workman like midfield. We can live without him. As for our defenders i think we have found a player in Warnock. He should come of age next year. We may need more from fergo. Nicho and bizz are past it, may need to find a player that can fill that void.
  9. I must say, over the years bizz and brownie have helped as link men carrying the footy out of the oppositions 50m zone. They are both no longer in the dees back 6. I agree that the dees are having problems with this ATM. I can't put my finger on who is responsible, perhaps lack of defensive coaching, or perhaps poor options to help carry the footy out. On a positive note our back six seems to be standing up better than it has in the past.
  10. What about robbos mark over joel bowden? That was pretty special! I think yze will win it, robbo deserves at least a runners up prize gievn the amount of super grabs this season.(give him a toaster)
  11. I refuse to vote! It is liking choosing between pam anderson and carmen electra, both have very HANDY talents and you would be happy with either. The only way to win is to have both players in the lineup (and both pam and carmen at the same time!)
  12. Here is what WILL happen with Newton. Will be offered a 2 year deal on the base salary of slightly above. He will be groomed for the rest of this year and make an impact next year. At 19 years of age he still has plenty of time. If any KPP is in danger of being shipped you think nick smith would be at the top of the pile. I still think Smith will be at the MFC next year and so will Newton.
  13. Keep them all. Why not, we are 3rd on the ladder with great depth. No need to go cutting players just yet.
  14. Anyone remember Jay Viney??? Was supposedly better than Todd.
  15. Nice to know my votes were the same as the majority. With so much depth it is soo hard to see who will emerge as a key player, and where. Lovely to have this depth
  16. Getting better each game. Has really established himself as a solid fullback. Love his courage and tenacity. HE played really well today and i hope to see much more of the bulldozer in years to come.
  17. Neitz needs a flag to reach "immortal status". He is a champion, a legend, but not immortal yet. A flag will make sure the memory of neita will NEVER fade.
  18. There is ONE and ONLY ONE biggest dissapointment, and that was.... CRAIG TURLEY!!!!! We got him form the eagles, he was one of their top 5 players, and he was in his prime when we got him. We traded chopper lovell who was IMO a great demons player. Turley came and was useless. I think the dees cut him with a year to run on his contract. All he wanted to do in melbourne was surf and bang chicks is what i was told from ppl around the club!
