Anyone else keep getting 'locked out' of Demonland?
Adzman replied to deestroy08's topic in Melbourne Demons
Have been for about 4 months! Have not posted in about 20 weeks, I am back in black now! -
Trapper is worth way more than Jolly! If Jolly is coming back home, then Jamar and PJ may be playing elsewhere next year. Big risk trading trapper- when he is hot he is our best!

Pick 4 is off the table in my opinion. It was only ever on the table for Juddy. After the judd trade, there wont be a big enough deal for us to move the 4th pick. THe dees won't help out collingwood or Carlton unless they were willing to give up something decent, we all know that Jarod Waite and Andrew Walker are on the market, and I am sorry to say but neither or both do not warrant pick 4. My money is on Pick four staying at Melbourne. The dees will still be heavily involved in trade week, just not with pick 4.

Play Judy, we have nothing to gain except the development of younger players. The season is gone, give players like juy a chance to play, and give players like neita a chance to recover. We cant finish lower than the tigers, and if by chance we did, we pick u the best ruck prospect in a decade.

Amazing to see how a run of injuries at a club open up spots for guys to show what they have got. I would have bet 1000 bucks on Hayes not playing a zebs seniors game this year. Lucky I didnt. Nice to see bode mentioned as more than just a player. Maybe there is hope for him yet. Pickett with a shoulder.........this season is truely cursed.

If ratten had wanted to coach the dees he would have hung around more than 5 weeks as an assistant. He would make a great coach, but voss seems more interested in spreading his wings OUTSIDE his former club. I have heard whispers of Peter Sumich putting his hand up for a senior job in Victoria. The verdict is out on that one.

A Shame for flash. Hi sub par season was turning around after a few solid games. A two week layoff could be a set back for him building good form. If you will hit on camera, you have to wear it!

Buckley is White and black, always will be. It would be a waste of time. He would jump ship the moment a coaching spot opened up at the pies. Personally I think he would be a great coach, lets face it, the boy can (COULD) play. He will not be the guy to help out the red and blue.

Bell - becoming very valuable Carroll - did his job Holland - murdered big rocca Ward - provided good run Bizzell - the glue holding the backline together Johnstone - fading into average, needs to bounce back Bate - very handy playmaker, strong mark, McDonald - consistent jmac again Davey - bloody woeful game, needs to shake this. Bruce - broken foot, or flat footy? Sylvia - hard working forward McLean - HE IS BACK! Neitz - just another game Robertson - coleman like domination White - still got game Johnson - rounding into a player Petterd - a raw gun Frawley - needs more time Green - stood up when needed Jones - gave us strength at stoppages Wheatley - provides penetrating drive Godfrey - homebrand version of judd

6- Robbo (unstoppable) 5- McLean (back in town) 4- Bate (takes a good mark) 3- Bell (shut down maggies crumbers) 2- Sylvia (ran hard and gave us options ALL DAY LONG) 1- Holland (too good for Rocca )

I heard the "injury excuse" used by a few maggots sitting nearby. "oh if we had presti and clement, robbo would get a touch". And the whole " oh mclean would get killed if bucks was in". I also heard several "Tarks (tarkyn) will win the brownlow this year" I am not the kind of fellow people usually pick on, so thankfully non of the garbage was thrown in my direction. As a passive observer i found it amusing how one eyed the collingwood faithful are. I heard a few "who the hell in number 2 for melbourne??" YOu would have to be living in siberia not to know who this kid is. I am well aware of pendelbury, cox, dick and the likes at collingwood, i find it sad that they cannot notice rising talent on other rosters. HIS NAME IS NATHAN JONES!
-
I also heard that it was a hammy strain. The extra week off will give him enough time to be in the mix against the tigers. If he doesnt come up the dees have- brown, yze and buckley pushing for midfield selection.

Benny did his job today. He was poor in parts, but overall was very handy down back ofr the dees. ONYA BUCKETS

My XMAS present would be seeing Brock the rock run STRAIGHT THROUGH Dale Thomas with a fair hip and shoulder, which will slow his """magic"""". Would also like to see Big rocca get a bath by our defence. Make their midfielders kick the goals.

Should see 56000 if weather is poor. Wont be much joy in terms or weather, but the ferals will come out in force as they think this one is "in the books". GO DEES

My concern with danners is that he is on a razors edge, and is out the door this season or next if a flag isnt won. How will younger players like mclean and jones cope with the coach being swept out and new ideas being swept in by dannners replacement? Mcleans seems to be behind him 100%. Will we see a riewoldt type reaction if the coach is swept out? (roo wont be at the saints next year)

He is looking like a leader in only he second season. Has a good Brock Mclean feel about him. He could be the player that helps us FINALLY win a flag in the next few years. At pick 12, he was a bargain! Love watching him run around the park causing headaches for other teams.

Still like the look of simon buckley and juice even thought they have not played a game. weetra and garland could be anything from a dud to a star, and i think neville has come down with the injury bug too early in his career to make it at the top level. CAC does his job well.

If we dont start to string the next few together, i can see the club making some selection changes in order to prepare for the future. This will hamper our ability to win games against quality opposition later in the year. If we start to win a few in a row, and we start to make up some ground on the 8, the dees will go full tilt and try and win every quarter of everygame later in the year, in the hope that they can sneak into 8th place. My guess is 4 of the next 8.

If this is the case he will miss a few weeks. he would be pushing it to get back by round 20.
-
yze always slays collingwood. The seem to have trouble matching up on the ooooze. We are underdogs, but i dont know too many people who would back their house on the pies. Should be a cracker

PICKETT- EARLY COME BACK?????
-
Pav is great, but he comes at a high price, 500K+ per year, plus players given up to get him to the MFC. A pick will not always be a great plyer, but at 60k per year and no player movement it seems like the safer option.

Are we all of a sudden richmond supporters? If sacking the coach and replacing him would fix all the problems i would be all for it. This is not this case. WE HAVE GREATER PROBLEMS AT THIS CLUB! Our players lack leadership, and when a game is in the balance we dont have the heart to get over the line. ND has been good and bad, but his exit will not be an auto-fix. It ND departs, the board will take the broom through this list. Man, lets all just enjoy playing the kids. F#$K the politics, let the board moves come after round 22. Support the current coach and watch the kids blossom!
