This is assuming that the dees drop the game against the tiggies. I actually do not mind this trade at all. I know freo are playing hard ball, and this is a way for us to avoid giving up a top 30 pick. Pick 1, 2, 3 are all golden nuggets, and we all know WA teams are high in Rich and NikNat. THis would allow us to grab watts at 3. I do propose this though. Who is to say that the dees are not looking at selecting Niknat or rich with pick one? If they do want watts, they will pull the trigger on this deal with freo. IF they do not make the trade, you can bet the dees will not select Watts with pick #1.

The truth is, the Dees with big Jonathan brown would still be Shyte! We need to rebuild organically, start from the start with no shortcuts. THis is the only way we will win a flag. Build on young talent, and hope they can ring us some glory in a few years time. If we abandon the 5 year plan now, it could be another 5-8 season before we do anything significant. I would rather more misery next season, knowing that the season to follow will be a significant improvement on the season before.

The dees are not tanking, they are just plain shyte. Our kids will be better off for the run this season, which should help us build a more competitive team in 2009.

One of the worst games I have seen the MFC play. Sure, we will get a good top up with 3 early picks, but the triuth is we are still a very long way off being anything special anytime in the next year or two.

Youth Movement= We are going to lose lots of games. 5 year plan= Our list is "not yet" ripe enough to compete at the top level. 7 year plan= Start following the Melbourne Storm, as we are not going anywhere fast!

How about Jack Watts as a forward? Leave Martin down back, those types are hard to find, and we have a few developing. Why do a Daniher and move him back, forward, sideways so he takes twice as long to develop???

Seriously, WTF is the big deal with Warnock coming to Melbourne. Anyone would think it is bloody Matthew Pavlich with the media hype this is getting!!! He is a second string Ruckman, who wants to fly home. I have seen better players go back to WA with half the media attention! To be honest, I doubt Morton would want to play for Freo, considering how much his brother hated the WA environment when he was at the Eagles.

If green goes, the Dews would have to do something pretty damn special to get me to sign up for a membership next season. Brad Green has been a great player for the club. There is no secret we can pay him a decent wage considering that neita, white (possibly yze) will not be on the books next season. (even if we have to cut 8%, surely we have enough space to re-ink Greeny) Pull your head out of your arse Melbourne!

Warnock has been great this year. One bad day doesn't mean he is a waste of time. He will learn, and grow from this. Next week will be great, as I am sure he will bounce back.

Loves a goal which also helps. Most ruckman are afraid of a Goal, but Hightower knows where the goals are, and is not worried about having a shot on goal. Jeff White must be getting concerned. We are still getting beaten week in week out, but our Ruckman are not at fault, and will continue to be given time to develop.

Dunn= Gun. 194cm run with player is an asset. Boomer is just having a teary beacuse he couldnt shake a tag and rack up some more brownlow votes.

Newton would be one worried player if the Dees land Watts with their first round pick. He is on a tightrope, and is about to lose his balance. Will be given one more chance. If he fails, it could be goodnight for Juice.

I am all for Freo winning this one. Helps us secure a better pick in the second round, and I am all for that!! WC will tank it. They are already a game and % ahead of us as it is. freo winning is a bigger plus for us than WC winning.

Looks like he belongs, will take some time to adjust like all kids. Has the skills to be a special player. Shoulder a concern, he would not have stayed on if it was really serious though.

Things look grim. I still think we can win another 2 games this season. North and Essendon are not that good. We still play WC. They are winable games!

I doubt we would even trade our second pick, given that we are now in a rebuilding phase. I am wondering which names will be floated on the market to increase our picks in the upcoming draft.

It would kill me if they folded or moved to Tassie (nothing against Tassie, I would just never go there) I already follow other sports closely, so It would be a piece of cake for me to switch off watching AFL for the rest of my known life. If they take away my Demons, the AFL can forget me ever buying a ticket to any games ever again.

Freo are playig games. He is not worth 1 million, so we should call their bluff, and let him stay at that price. They are trying to build up his stocks prior to the trade period. I will be flat out honest, there is no way we should over pay for Robbie Warnock! He is a rising talent, but he is not setting the world on fire.

If we get over Freo today, there is a chance based on who we play that we could end up wining 5 games. A loss today would make it hard. A bunch of School girls can beat West Coast, they clearly are not interested, Port seem to be looking at next season, and Freo are plain Rubish. Roos, Dons and Tigers are winnable game,s that said those 3 teams will be pushing for the last few spot in the 8, so they may be hard to knock off. I can easily see us winning 3 of the next 7, I just hope we only pull off 2 wins. We will beat WC< they are a joke.

Watts would be a nice addition. I would still like Newton to play at FF, and groom Watts for a CHF type position. This gives us room to move around bate and miller from the flank and pocket. With Robbo and Davey also playing flank or pocket. I want to see Sylvia up the ground in the future.
