I think our top 10 performed just fine it was the bottom 12 that let us down. 23 to 33 are the best ranked players who have played games but didn't play against Brisbane and 34 to 43 are the best ranked players who haven't played a game.

We are not gonna give up a lot for Grundy. Chances we could get the dogs and Freo's first pick for Jackson. We use the dogs pick to pick a key forward and use Freo's pick on Grundy as long as we are paying half his wage. That would be a good deal IMO.

I don't like reading DD's post, but this one I entirely agree. van Rooyen is a gun. How he hasn't played a game defies logic. Howes very promising needs to get a bit more of the ball. I think we can play all Bedford, Chandler and Pickett in the one team they have x factor, Spargo's lost me doesn't impact enough. Moniz-Wakefield is exciting good above his head too like Chandler, a bit behind the rest but one to look out for. Ellison is an interesting one doesn't get much of the ball but does his job week in week out. I wouldn't be against picking him up as a rookie. Tomlinson really isn't a key defender. Turner and Ellison could set us up for the years ahead especially if Petty plays up forward more. Weid is insurance in case Gawn or Grundy get injured. I'm convinced Grundy will be with us next year we will pay half his salary and people forget how good he was in his AA year he's an extra midfielder. A descent improvement on the overrated Jackson.

I'd keep Harmes but Hunt can go not good enough. Weid I don't see anyone taking his contract so I think we are stuck with him. He's finished as a forward but could be a handy 3rd ruck.

Firstly I have to say sorry the powers that be never want me to see a premiership live. Gawn is more than a capable forward. Where did you get 700k from? That would mean he comes as a fourth round pick. Collingwood would be paying half his salary guaranteed. The only problem is should he be a first rounder or a second rounder. I don't think he's any better than Ben Brown who was a second rounder.

The only reason JVR hasn't played a game is that were playing finals and Melksham has done his job. JVR will get plenty of game time next year.

Nah McDonald will come in from all reports and Rivers will be the one that probably makes way for him.
